The current research focuses on the synthesis, characterization, and applications of low-cost nanomaterials from Thai resources (Fig. 1) using autoclave unit (made in RMUTT) [1]. The principal aim of this study is to prepare the nanostructured (nanofibers, nanotubes, and nanoparticles) metal oxides by using simple hydrothermal method and apply for energy and environmental applications such as a semiconductor in dye-sensitized solar cell, photo-catalyst for H2 production from water splitting reaction and additives in biodegradable polymer (Fig. 2).
