Re: Obtaining Life Certificate/ Non-Re-Marriage/ Non-Marriage certificate from all staff pensioners (self and family) for the financial year 2020-2021

You are well aware that life certificates of staff pensioners (self and family) are to be submitted in the month of November every year.

In view of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and keeping the view of vulnerability of elderly population to Corona Virus, provision for submitting life certificate online through Ex Employee portal has been provided to the pensioners from oist October 2020 to 3i5t December 2020.

Accordingly, many pensioners have submitted their life certificates online through ex-employee portal which is to be authorized by branches.

In case certification by any Officer is not done in the ex-employee portal at branch level, pension will be stopped from the month of January 2021 till the time pensioner's life certificate is authorized by any officer of the Bank in the portal.

Guidelines to branches for authorizing life certificates in ex-employee portal.

For Finacle 10: URL of Ex Employee portal for submission of life certificate of Staff pensioners (self and family) is http:/1172.16.10.156/ContMedicalAdmin/index.aspx

For Finacle 7 : URL of Ex Employee portal for submission of life certificate of Staff pensioners (self and family) is http:/110.152.1.66/ContMedicalAdmin/index.aspx

Officers to login using BOB Domain ID and Password for verification of life certificate and onward submission to HO (Job Card Attached herewith).

1. Pensioners can visit any branch as per his/her convenience for submission of life certificate.

2. Any officer of any branch can submit and authorize staff pensioner's life certificate. 3. Branches can submit life certificate in Ex-employee portal directly for pensioners who

have not submitted their requests online, after verifying and satisfying themselves that the pensioner is alive.

4. Branches to ascertain number of pensioners whose life certificate submission is pending and get in touch with the pensioner/ family of the pensioner for ascertaining the reasons for non-submission.

5. Life certificate pertaining to retirees retiring post 01st November 2020 is not required to be submitted for the financial year 2020-2021.

6. Cases where pensioners are unable to visit branches and for those who have already submitted requests online, branches may authorize or submit life certificate by adhering to the following procedures:

• Visiting the pensioners residence • Making video call on registered mobile number (as per Bank's record) of the

pensioner and or after satisfying the genuineness of submission that the pensioner is still alive.

Branches to submit or authorize life certificates of staff pensioners (self and family) ONLY after ascertaining that he/she is alive on the date of authorization.

Hard copy of life certificate obtained by branches (as per proforma given in Annexure A) to be retained in pensioner's file at branch and is NOT to be sent to Head Office.

As per Bank of Baroda Employees' Pension Regulation, 1995, recipient of family pension needs to submit certificate of non-re-marriage or non-marriage (as per format given in Annexure B). In case of any other dependent being the recipient of family pension (a widower, an unmarried daughter) certificate of non-re-marriage/ non-marriage and certificate of non-employment or non-re-employment is required to be furnished by the recipient at every six month's interval i.e. in May & November (as per prescribed format given in Annexure B). The certificate is to be sent to HO.

In case where the son/daughter is suffering from any disorder or disability (mental or physical) as to render him/her unable to earn a living even after attaining the maximum age limit, the person receiving the family pension as guardian should produce a certificate from Medical Officer not below rank of Civil Surgeon to the effect that the person continues to suffer from disorder or disability every three years in the month of November. In such cases, the guardian shall also be required to furnish a certificate every six months that he/she has not started earning his/her livelihood and in case of a girl that she is unmarried.

A copy of this may be displayed on notice board at branches and offices and all staff members is to be sensitized on this issue.

For submission/ verification of life certificate of pensioners: Enter EC No of the pensioner after clicking on Life certificate under Pension Tab, check details displayed on screen, tick check box against declaration after ascertaining that pensioner is alive on the date of submission of life certificate and click submit.

For viewing list of pensioners of a particular branch and status of their life certificate submission: Enter Branch ALPHA in Search Tab and click submit.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1) I am unable to view tab Submit and verify life certificate • Only officers can accept and authorize submission of life certificate.

2) I don't have list of pensioners pertaining to my branch • Employee to enter branch ALPHA under Search tab of Ex Employee portal and

click submit. List of pensioners pertaining to the mentioned ALPHA will be displayed.

3) Name of pension beneficiary does not display after entering EC no. • Ensure that correct EC No. has been entered. For eDENA and eVIJA YA

pensioners, EC no. allotted post amalgamation to be entered. In case, even after entering correct EC no. issue persists, kindly contact Staff Pension Department, HO along with screenshot of error faced.

4) Pensioner of other branch is asking for submission of life certificate at my branch • Branch can submit or authorize life certificate submitted by staff pensioners

(self/family) having pension paying account branch anywhere in India after ascertaining that he/she is alive on the date of authorization.

5) URL is not opening in my PC • Please check the URL entered. It is to be noted that URL for Finacle 7 and Finacle

10 are different (both mentioned above). URL for verification is to be accessed in CBS PC only.
