During the Process of Meiosis :Meiosis I : is a division sequence that separated the sets of homologous chromosomes to produce two daughter cells that have half the normal number of chromosomes - i.e. they are haploid.Meiosis II : is the second half of the process whereby the sister chromatids are divided and separated into daughter cells (much as in mitosis).
