依據 basement 行政院於 91 年訂頒「營造英語生活環境行動方案」 行政院研考會於 92 年 8 月訂定「優質英語生活環境評核獎勵要點」 本局為研考會指定參加「 95 年度營造優質英語生活環境評獎」機關

目的 goal 「消防國際化」及「消防服務無國界」 不只是打火 (more than a fire fighter) 身為消防人不可不知的三大任務： 1. 火災預防 (Fire Prevention) 2. 災害搶救 (Disaster Rescue) 3. 緊急救護 (Emergency Medical Service)

英文的重要性 why we should learn it? 英文不好的阿呆第一次出國，要填寫很多英文表格，當阿呆看到 「 sex 」 ( 性別 ) 這一欄的時候，在心中猶豫掙扎了一番，最後鼓起勇氣寫下了… three times a week!! ( 一個禮拜三次 )

禮儀 manners 微笑是國際共通語言 (just smile) Please smile when you answer the phone and the caller will feel your amiability. 專業形象 (professional image) Please do not overreact! Remember you work as a professional fire fighter. Let the caller explain his/her problems without interruption. Take notes.
