informal meeting with presentations and workshops

When we, Russians, think about some countries we have certain associations with products and even with specific brands.

England – Lipton tea, James Bond;France – Beaujolais Nouveau, baguette; Japan – cars and gadjets;Sweden – IKEA furniture, H&M clothing.

But Danish culture and products are unknown and underestimated in Russia. Usually all we can remeber are Andersen’s fairytales and Hamlet, Prince of Denmarke.

The event «Discover real Denmark» is designed to create an opportunity to dive into the atmosphere of this country.

At this meetup some Denmark representatives will share information about their country firsthand. Guests will discover some peculiarities about culture, tradition, life, mentality, language and cuisine.

Presentation of the country, cities, sights, the royal family, festivals

Presentation of social life in the coun-try from the example of the specific city (education, job, medicine)

Cuisine workshop «New Nordic Cui-sine»

Live broadcasting in the format of Q&A. Subjects: life in Denmark, busi-ness in Denmark, integration into so-ciaty.

Danish language workshop

Each section is 30 minutes long: 20 minutes for speaker’s presentation and 10 minutes for Q&A.

All presentations and workshops will be streamed online at Youtube chan-nel in order to the broad public could get access to the information (and not only Moscow citizens).

Time: 19:00-22:00

Place: Nordic restaurant G. Graf (city centre: 8, 4th Dobrininsky lane)

target audience

50-70 people will attend to meetup.

These are people of 20-38 years old, with stable income.

They like trying non-ordinary and visit some events for getting bright emotions and new experience.

They are interested in Denmark, its culture, language and, obviously, cuisine.
