Professor Fuming Wang (CAE)

Zhengzhou University, China

Professor Wang is Academician from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, member

of Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering in China Civil Engineering Society. He is

also the academic leader for the Water Conservancy & Environmental Engineering at

Zhengzhou University. Professor Wang has obtained second, third prize of the

National Science and Technology Progress Awards respectively. Particularly, the

technology and equipment on chemical grouting in leakage resistance received the

second prize of National Technology Invention Award in 2014. Moreover, the

trenchless rehabilitation technology of road and underground infrastructure developed

by Professor Wang was awarded by the international non excavation academic

research forum in 2014, which is the second time that the mainland scholar since the

foundation of this award in 1986.

王复明教授，中国工程院院士,中国土木工程学会力学与岩土工程分会理事。

郑州大学水利工程一级学科学术带头人。获国家科技进步二、三等奖各 1 项，

“非水反应高聚物注浆防渗加固成套技术及装备”荣获 2014 年度国家技术发明

奖二等奖，“道路及地下设施非开挖修复技术荣获 2014 年度国际非开挖学术研

究奖。这是国际非开挖奖 1986 年设立以来我国大陆学者第二次获得此项奖励。

Professor William Buttlar

University of Missouri, USA

Professor Buttlar was the associate dean in the Faculty of Engineering at University of

Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) and the chair of transportation and road

engineering committee in Illinois. Professor Buttlar conducts the research on

evaluation of asphalts pavement and the development of

sustainable pavement materials for a long time. He is

also the chief editor of the international journal “Road

Materials and Pavement Design” and the director of

AAPT as well as the committee chair of committee for

asphalt pavement cracking and damage of RILEM TC-

MCD.

William Buttlar 教授现为美国密苏里大学教授，曾任美国伊利诺伊大学工学

院副院长，伊利诺伊交通与公路工程会议主席。长期从事沥青路面材料评价、

可持续路面材料开发等方向的研究，担任”Road Materials and Pavement Design”

国际期刊的主编，沥青路面技术委员会 AAPT 的理事主任，国际材料与结构研

Professor Kelvin Wang

School of Civil and Environmental Engineering,

Oklahoma State University, USA

Professor Wang is the invited expert of “the Thousand

Talents Plan”. His research areas include the pavement

surface 3-D laser imaging technology, the pavement

design and management of database supporting system.

Professor Wang also developed the world leading

collection equipment of digitalized road information (DHDV) and the ancillary

facilities used for automatic damage analysis (ADA). In 2015, Professor Wang was

elected as the 2016 chair of ASCE, who becomes the first Chinese chair in the history

of ASCE.

Kelvin Wang（王郴平）教授现为美国俄克拉荷马州立大学教授，国家“千

人计划“特聘专家，ASCE 交通会 2016 年主席，是 ASCE 历史上第一位华人主

席，首位获得美国土木工程师学会运输工程奖章的华人。研究领域为路面表面

三维激光成像技术、路面设计与管理数据库支持系统。研发了世界领先的道路

信息数字化采集装备（ DHDV ）及配套的同步路面损坏自动分析系统

（ADA）。

Professor Y. Richard Kim

North Carolina State University, USA

Professor Kim is the first chair of Asia-America pavement engineer society. His

research interests include: the characterization and

performance modelling of asphalt material and asphalt

pavement, evaluation of asphalt pavement, pavement

acceleration test, and pavement design and recycling.

Professor Baoshan Huang

Professor Huang is the invited professor and “Furong

Scholar” at Changsha University of Science & Technology. His main research

directions are civil engineering material and road engineering.

Professor Zhanping You

Texas A&M University–Kingsville and Michigan Technological University, USA

Professor You is the Professional Engineer in America and employed as the “Cheung

Kong Scholar” Professor at Changan University. His

research areas include microstructure of bituminous

mixture, micromechanics, characterization and

experiments on asphalt material, performance

optimization of bituminous mixture, design method of

asphalt pavement the environmental friendly asphalt

material.

Zhanping You( 尤占平 ) 教授任美国 Texas A&M University-

Kingsville，Michigan Technological University 教授。美国注册职业土木工程师

（Professional Engineer），受聘为长安大学“长江学者”讲座教授。研究领域

为沥青混合料细观结构、细观力学、沥青材料性能表征与测试方法、沥青混合

Professor Meor Othman Hamzah

University of Science and Technology, Malaysia

Professor Hamzah graduated from Leeds University in Britain. His main research

directions are highway material, highway design and traffic

impact analysis.

Professor K. Wayne Lee

Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, USA

Professor Lee was the president of Phode Island branch and the chair of pavement

material committee. The main research fields are

engineering material, infrastructure and system of

intelligent transportation, and the green intelligent

highway.

Professor Alex Visser

Department of Transportation Engineering, University of Pretoria, South Africa

Professor Visser is the Academician from the Academy of Engineering in South

Africa. Meanwhile, he is a fellow of the South African Institution of Civil

Engineering (SAICE). He is also the Member of the Suid-Afrikaanse Akademie vir

Wetenskap en Kuns and a Fellow of the Society for Asphalt Technology. His research

has focused primarily on low volume roads and road management systems,

particularly elements such as road performance and vehicle operating costs, and issues

related to the provision of the road infrastructure in developing regions.

Alex Visser 教授是南非工程院院士，南非比勒陀利亚大学交通学院教授，

南非注册工程师，南非土木工程学院董事并与 1997 年担任董事长。同时，Alex

Visser 教授是 Suid-Afrikaanse Akademie vir Wetenskap en Kuns 成员及路面技术委

Dr. Yingwu Fang

Pavement expert of Transport Department in Virginia, USA

Dr. Fang is the member of North America Chinese

Overseas Transportation Association (NACOTA), the

member of pavement repair technology committee of TRB

and the member of pavement and material technology

committee of ASTM.

School of Civil, Environmental, and Architectural Engineering, University of Kansas

Professor Han is the Registered Professional Engineer in Georgia State in America.

He has published 200 journal papers in the research fields

of geosynthetics, earth structure, foundation treatment,

pile foundation engineering, subgrade and pavement.

Meanwhile, Professor Han is the member of society of

geotechnical engineering in ASCE, and the member of

geosynthetics in TRB. Moreover, he is also the editor of

several international journals of geotechnical engineering

such as “Journal of Geotechnical & Geoenvironmental Engineering”. In 2011,

Professor Han held the president of Geo-Frontiers, which is the proceeding of

American Society of Geotechnical Engineering.

韩杰教授是美国堪萨斯大学(The University of Kansas)土木与建筑工程系教

Professor Junjie Zheng

Associate Dean in the School of Civil Engineering & Mechanics, Huazhong

University of Science and Technology, China

Professor Zheng, is the “Cheung Kong Scholars Programme” of ministry of education

and nominated as the “Program for New Century

Excellent Talents” (NCET). The main research interests

include study on full life cycle performance of reinforced

soil structure in motorway, mechanism of compound

foundation, soft soil foundation treatment, microbial

reinforcement of soft soil, design and construction of

tunnel structure, reliability analysis of geotechnical

engineering, interaction of pile-soil, retaining method for deep excavation and slope

stability analysis.

郑俊杰，教育部“长江学者奖励计划”特聘教授，教育部“新世纪优秀人

才支持计划”入选者，国家注册土木工程师（岩土），华中科技大学土木工程

与力学学院副院长。主要研究方向：高速交通工程加筋土结构物全寿命周期性

Dr. George Chang

Program Manager, the Transtec Group, Inc.

Dr. Chang is recognized as the world expert on pavement smoothness and intelligent

compaction technologies. Dr. Chang has been the

principal investigator for numerous projects that

enhancing pavement materials/structure design and

analysis, pavement surface characteristics, and

earthworks/pavement construction. Dr. Chang has

been the chairman for the Road Profile Users’ Group

(RPUG) and is the current chairman for TRB AFD90

Surface Properties-Vehicle Interaction committee. He recently received a NOVA

award from Construction Innovation Forum (CIF) in 2014.
