1-4, to inform you with reference to the marginally
noted subject that "D" Company of th is batta lion is
recru ited en tire ly from tho farming communities and
that only 4:' have shown a w illingness to go hack and
h81|> on the farms; the other companies are l a r g e l y re
cruited from the fa c to r ies in Berlin and Waterloo and
farm work does not appeal to them, only 13 in a l l
having responded making a to ta l o f 56 from the batt
a lion .
