2 History

History

01Sept. 2nd ,1957Jian-Guo Elementary School was originally the Da-Lin

division of Taoyuan Elementary School.

02Jul. 1st ,1958

The Da-Lin division was given an independence statue,

officially named as Jian-Guo Civic School. And Mr. Li Xun-

Zhong was assigned as the first principal.

03Aug. 1st ,1968

It was officially renamed as Jian-Guo Elementary School.

04Aug. 1st ,1973

Principal Li was transferred to Gui-Shan Elementary School,

and his position was filled in by Mr. Shao Qing-Li.

05Apr. 4th ,1985

The Activity center was built.

06Aug. 1st, 1986

Principal Shao was transferred to Nan-Men Elementary

School and Mr. Lin Pi-Jian was assigned as the third principal

of the school.

07Mar. 1st, 1987

It cost 50 million dollars to expand the campus to 1.48

acers.

Feb. 1st, 1997

Principal Lin completed his tenure and his position was filled

in by Mr. Zhang Jin-Chun.

09Aug. 1st , 2005

Principal Zhang completed his tenure and his position was filled in by Mr. Chen
