Cambridge English: Legal assesses your English language ability

at Levels B2 and C1 o the Common European Framework

o Reerence or Languages (CEFR) – the internationally

recognised benchmark or language assessment.



Taking the exam: what to expect

Cambridge English: Legal is ofered 12 times a year throughCambridge ESOL’s worldwide network o authorised

examination centres. Please speak to your local centre or

urther inormation. You can find your nearest centre at

The exam consists o our papers – Reading, Writing, Listeningand Speaking – which together last just under 3.5 hours (not

including breaks). You will sit the Reading, Writing and Listening

papers together over the course o a morning.

The Speaking test is taken separately, and gives you the

opportunity to demonstrate your skills in a ace-to-ace

conversation. You will take your test with another candidate

and two Cambridge ESOL examiners.

Test results are usually available about six weeks ater the test

date, and your Statement o Results will include details o your
