العمل االجتماعي للتميز في بنت عبدالعزيز تم إنشاء جائزة األميرة صيتة بموجب األمر السامي الكريم رقم (أ/١٠٩) وتاريخ ١٤٣٣/٠٥/٣٠هƠ المتضمن الموافقة على إنشاء (مؤسسة جائزة األميرة صيتة بنت عبدالعزيز للتميز في

العمل االجتماعي) ونص النظام على أن:

• خادم الحرمين الشريفين هو الرئيس الفخري للمجلس.

• المؤسسة ذات شخصية اعتبارية مستقلة غير هادفة للربح المالي.

• يديرها مجلس أمناء مدته أربع سنوات.

• المقر الرئيس للمؤسسة هو مدينة الرياض مع إمكانية انشاء فروع أو مكاتب لها في مدن المملكة.

Pioneering in Social Work

This domain is awarded seven hundred and fifty thousand Riyals (750.000 SR). The pioneers of social work are individuals who have great social achievements nationally or internationally and who have contributed to humanity at large. They are considered as models for charity work and who presented ideas that are applied in their societies and transferred and utilized in other societies as well.

The award aims to highlight

the role of those pioneers and

show them as distinctive

models so as to encourage

others to follow their footsteps

and present similar efforts.

The award granted for this domain is also seven hundred and fifty thousand Riyals (750.000 SR). It aims at promoting institutional charitable social work through highlighting distinctive models of social programs.The services of these programs share public benefit and work with transparency and effectiveness.

Social programs are the institutional programs that provide non-profit educational, social, cultural or health services. All offered services either presented as financial support or otherwise can be included within this domain as long as they are non-profit services.

Supporting & Encouraging IslamicCharitable Endowment

The aim of this award is to have distinguished institutional models of endowments. It also intends to motivate individuals to encourage their contributions in the field of endowments for developing societies and meeting their needs.

The award granted for this domain is seven hundred and fifty thousand Riyals (750.000 SR). It includes all Islamic charitable endowments located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or outside the country and whether these are related to individuals, organizations, universities or research and studies centers for the public interests.

The award aims at encouraging and promoting national achievements and appreciating people’s efforts in the field for the prosperity of the country and the welfare of its citizens.

An award with the amount of seven hundred and fifty thousand riyals (750,000 SR) is granted for this domain. It is granted to distinguished initiatives including activities, programs, projects or services that are submitted by individuals, governmental and private bodies, universities, research and studies centers. The national achievement stands for all abstract ideas or accomplished efforts presented by individuals or joint work with the purpose of establishing and

It was well recognized that the quality of work in the Foundation and its continuity require keeping pace with contemporary context and the ability to keep up with qualitative changes in the structure of its system and awards. It also involves reinforcing values like credibility, transparency and governance based on local, regional and global partnerships that ensure the quality and sustainability of the Award’s work. The launching of this year's award in its fifth cycle confirms the ambition and determination to move from the local perspective, the regional into a global domain. With wise leadership, true guidance and continuous follow up from the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for social, charitable and humanitarian volunteer work together with the development of its mechanisms and increasing improvements, social work gains a distinguished reputation that goes in line with Saudi Arabia’s reputation locally, regionally and internationally. It also accords with its ambitious aspirations and future vision. Princess Seetah bint AbdulAziz Award for Excellence in Social Work (PSA) comes to fulfill these urges and orientations towards social work with its mission to raise positive competitive spirits among the pioneers of social work and its organizations. It is hoped that this foundation complements other similar social work institutions to establish an institutional body that contributes to the development of social work in society, spreads its culture, and guarantees its quality and sustainability. In accordance with Saudi Arabia's 2030 Vision and the 2020 National Transformational Program, Princess Seetah Award Foundation (PSAF) seeks to enhance its humanitarian and national presence by developing its strategy, restructuring its system and orienting the fields of its awards to best serve the community's needs and thus improving social work in general. A blessed start to a flourishing journey and sincere wishes to keep this country (KSA) safe, sustained, prosperous and leading in social work. 6

Princess Seetah bint AbdulAziz Award for Excellence in Social Work (PSA) was established under the Royal Decree No. (A/ 109) on

30/ 5/ 1433H.

The approval included establishing the Foundation (PSAF) with the following:

• The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques is The Honorary President of the Council.

• The Foundation is a legal, independent, non-profit entity

• It is run by a four-year Board of Trustees

• The Foundation is located in Riyadh with the possibility of establishing branches or offices in other cities in the kingdom.
