Abstract Title of the Research: "A proposed perspective of Geography Curriculum in the

Light of the dimensions of Sustainable Development and its effect in developing

the environmental awareness for the students of Preparatory Stage". Name of Researcher: Rehab Fathy Hassan Shehata. Dvisors: prof.Dr. Mahmoud Ali Ammar - Prof.Dr. Sonya Hannem Ali Kazamel

Degree: PhD in Education – Curriculum & Geography Instruction Methods.

Contact Search: Faculty of Education, University of El-Arish. The research Aim: The goal of current research to measure the impact of the

proposed approach geography prepared in light of dimensions of sustainable

development (Environment- Economy- Social and Governance) and its impact on

the development of environmental awareness among students of the preparatory

stage.

The research tools: (prepared by the researcher)

1- Achievement test in the cognitive part of environmental awareness.

2- measure of environmental awareness.

Results of the research:

1- There is a difference statistically significant at a level of (0.01) between the

average scores of students (research group) in the two applications pre and post

in the achievement test as a whole in favor of the dimensional application arrived

to difference (14.27).

2- There is a difference statistically significant at a level of (0.01) between the

average scores of students in the two applications pre and post in the three levels

of achievement test in favor of the dimensional application arrived to difference

(14.26).

3- There is a difference statistically significant at a level of (0.01) between the

average scores of students in the two applications pre and post in measure of

environmental awareness in favor of the dimensional application arrived to

difference (120.7).

4- There is a difference statistically significant at a level of (0.01) between the

average scores of students in the two applications pre and post in the five

measure of environmental awareness axes in favor of the dimensional application

arrived to difference (121.23).

5- The proposed approach has grown in light of the dimensions of sustainable

development (Part cognitive / trend toward) environmental awareness among

students is greater than or equal to the rate of (0.8) of any kind, it is huge.
