Welcome to the SAUDI GREEN BUILDING FORUM Education Introducing SAUDI GREEN Part I&II Key Concepts, Strategies, and Vision by Faisal S. Alfadl Secretary General of SAUDI GREEN BUILDING FORUM 1st of January 2014 About SAUDI GREEN Introducing SAUDI GREEN fundamental key concepts, strategies and vision for initiatives through out Saudi Arabia leading Green Building process locally vs International guiding principals and share background on the Kingdom development future process into conference, education, and what it means for project teams with local resources, the structure of world rating system, and how its flexibility lends itself to wide use in Saudi Arabia. Objectives Recognise key-players from Goverment, non Goverment and Private sectors. Designed to present a holistic understanding of how, why and what to help user experience. Describe Saudi Green adaptability to meet specific needs. Explore key foundational concepts of assessments tools, share background on the development process. LEED what it means for project teams, the structure of rating system, and how its flexibility lends itself to wider use in Saudi Arabia. This session takes an in depth look at the role of Saudi Green Building Forum an integrative initiative by King of Saudi Arabia on how its supports address higher levels of building performance. Participants will gain an understanding of how Saudi Green to improve project teams’ experience and streamline efforts. Participants will gain an understanding of how Saudi Green has been structured to present community experience of annual conference, continue education, mail-stone projects by local resources.
