『撒瑪利亞人的比喻』 The Parable of Samaritan

(Jos6:26)26當時約書亞叫眾人起誓說、有興起重修這耶利哥城的人、當在耶和華面前受咒詛．他立根基的時候、必喪長子、安門的時候、必喪幼子。 At that time Joshua pronounced this solemn oath: "Cursed before the LORD is the man who undertakes to rebuild this city, Jericho: "At the cost of his firstborn son will he lay its foundations; at the cost of his youngest will he set up its gates."

•500年后，有伯特利人希伊勒重修耶利哥城，果然因而丧失长幼两子，正应验了约书亚的咒诅（王上十六 34）。

(Jos15:7)從亞割谷往北、上到底璧、直向河南亞都冥坡對面的吉甲．又接連到隱示麥泉、直通到隱羅結、 The boundary then went up to Debir from the Valley of Achor and turned north to Gilgal, which faces the Pass of Adummim south of the gorge. It continued along to the waters of En Shemesh and came out at En Rogel.

（路 Lk10:25-37 ）25有一個律法師、起來試探耶穌說、夫子、我該作甚麼纔可以承受永生。 On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. "Teacher," he asked, "what must I do to inherit eternal life?"

26耶穌對他說、律法上寫的是甚麼．你念的是怎樣呢。 "What is written in the Law?" he replied. "How do you read it?"

27他回答說、『你要盡心、盡性、盡力、盡意、愛主你的　神．又要愛鄰舍如同自己。』 He answered: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"

28耶穌說、你回答的是．你這樣行、就必得永生。 "You have answered correctly," Jesus replied. "Do this and you will live."

29那人要顯明自己有理、就對耶穌說、誰是我的鄰舍呢。 But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?"

30耶穌回答說、有一個人從耶路撒冷下耶利哥去、落在強盜手中、他們剝去他的衣裳、把他打個半死、就丟下他走了。 In reply Jesus said: "A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he fell into the hands of robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead.

31偶然有一個祭司、從這條路下來．看見他就從那邊過去了。 A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side.

32又有一個利未人、來到這地方、看見他、也照樣從那邊過去了。 So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side.

33惟有一個撒瑪利亞人、行路來到那裡．看見他就動了慈心、 But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him.

34上前用油和酒倒在他的傷處、包裹好了、扶他騎上自己的牲口、帶到店裡去照應他。 He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, took him to an inn and took care of him.

35第二天拿出二錢銀子來、交給店主說、你且照應他．此外所費用的、我回來必還你。 The next day he took out two silver coins and gave them to the innkeeper. 'Look after him,' he said, 'and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.'

36你想這三個人、那一個是落在強盜手中的鄰舍呢。 "Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?"

37他說、是憐憫他的。耶穌說、你去照樣行罷。 The expert in the law replied, "The one who had mercy on him." Jesus told him, "Go and do likewise."

1.祭司 Priest

31偶然有一個祭司、從這條路下來．看見他就從那邊過去了。 A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side.

(Ex13:2-5)2不可隨眾行惡．不可在爭訟的事上、隨眾偏行、作見證屈枉正直． "Do not follow the crowd in doing wrong. When you give testimony in a lawsuit, do not pervert justice by siding with the crowd,

3也不可在爭訟的事上、偏護窮人。 and do not show favoritism to a poor man in his lawsuit.

4若遇見你仇敵的牛、或驢、失迷了路、總要牽回來交給他。 "If you come across your enemy's ox or donkey wandering off, be sure to take it back to him.

5若看見恨你人的驢壓臥在重馱之下、不可走開、務要和驢主一同抬開重馱。 If you see the donkey of someone who hates you fallen down under its load, do not leave it there; be sure you help him with it.

2.利未人 Levite

32又有一個利未人、來到這地方、看見他、也照樣從那邊過去了。 So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side.

3.撒瑪利亞人 Samaritan• 公元前 722年北國以色列亡於亞述之後，以色列人也就四散流亡，散居各地。• 至於那些仍居於北國首都撒瑪利亞的以色列人就與外族人通婚，衍生出來的後代就稱為撒瑪利亞人。• 撒瑪利亞人一直在猶太人眼中被視為外邦人，與他們的信仰無涉，猶太人也絕不接納撒瑪利亞人，

•他們不單在生活上有嫌隙，就是在宗教上也是分庭抗禮的。•根據許多的資料顯示：猶太人過逾越節的時候不會吃撒瑪利亞人烘的餅，•途經撒瑪利亞運送至耶路撒冷獻祭的麥子也是要不得的。•撒瑪利亞人所宰的牲口，猶太人不屑去購買。

•在耶穌基督的時代，猶太人甚至公開在會堂裏咒詛撒瑪利亞人，祈求他們得不著救恩！•他們既不相信撒瑪利亞人的證供，也不接受他們的服務。•猶太人與撒瑪利亞人的仇恨不單表達於宗教情緒上，更表露於日常生活上

(Lk9:51-56)51耶穌被接上升的日子將到、他就定意向耶路撒冷去、 As the time approached for him to be taken up to heaven, Jesus resolutely set out for Jerusalem.

52便打發使者在他前頭走．他們到了撒瑪利亞的一個村莊、要為他豫備。 And he sent messengers on ahead, who went into a Samaritan village to get things ready for him;

53那裡的人不接待他、因他面向耶路撒冷去but the people there did not welcome him, because he was heading for Jerusalem.

54他的門徒、雅各、約翰、看見了、就說、主阿、你要我們吩咐火從天上降下來、燒滅他們、像以利亞所作的麼。 When the disciples James and John saw this, they asked, "Lord, do you want us to call fire down from heaven to destroy them?"

55耶穌轉身責備兩個們徒說、你們的心如何、你們並不知道。 But Jesus turned and rebuked them,

56人子來不是要滅人的性命、是要救人的性命．說著就往別的村莊去了。 and they went to another village.

（路 Lk10:33-35）33惟有一個撒瑪利亞人、行路來到那裡．看見他就動了慈心、 But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him.34上前用油和酒倒在他的傷處、包裹好了、扶他騎上自己的牲口、帶到店裡去照應他。 He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, took him to an inn and took care of him.

35第二天拿出二錢銀子來、交給店主說、你且照應他．此外所費用的、我回來必還你。 The next day he took out two silver coins and gave them to the innkeeper. 'Look after him,' he said, 'and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.'

36你想這三個人、那一個是落在強盜手中的鄰舍呢。 "Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?"

37他說、是憐憫他的。耶穌說、你去照樣行罷。 The expert in the law replied, "The one who had mercy on him." Jesus told him, "Go and do likewise."
