Congratulations on the purchase of your JB series solar water heater. Properly assembled and cared for it will perform well for many years. Please take time to read this manual and familiarize yourself with the assembly before unpacking.

UnpackingYour solar water heater is packed in two cartons. The storage tank, frame, reflector and the fastenings box are contained in the larger carton. Unpack this carton and lay out the items, open the fastening box and place the aluminum profiled bars on the floor in order of size.

Use Fig.1 on the right to help identify each item needed during the assembly.

Frame AssemblyNext untie the frame bars bond and identify each bar with the help of Fig. 2.

Cross connect the RS with bolts in the way of Fig. 3 shows.

Next connect the bolted sideling bars with rear bars as Fig. 4 shows.

Connect the stainless steel tank brackets with the rear bars, note that the triangular joint of the brackets should be connected with the reflector, details shows in Fig. 6.

Reflector Assembly

Place the module-type reflectors in parallel.Connect the holes in the tube carriage (the larger holes facing outside) with the slots in the triangular joint of reflector bar, and bolt them, as shown in Fig.7.Connect the holes in the transverse braces (the shorter side facing outside) with the slots and bolts them, as shown in Fig. 8. (screw only four slots of the six)

Unite the Frame and the ReflectorInsert the triangular joint of the tank brackets between the transverse brace and the reflector bar, and then attach the braces, brackets and the reflector bars with bolts, as shown in Fig. 9.

Connect the sideling bars and nether bars. ( tilt angle of 45°), as shown in Fig. 10.

Connect the upward, middle sideling bars and nether bars (tilt angle of 30°).

Fix the four foot cushion, as shown in Fig. 11.

Assembly the storage tank

Insert the bolts from the cylinder into the slots of the tank brackets, and then fit the nut fingers, as shown in Fig. 12.

Screw the air vent on the top of the storage tank.

Note: The assembly of the system has not been finished yet, the connection bolts should not be screw down until the tubes are installed.

Carefully unpack the tubes box, and avoid solar radiance before the assembly.

Check the silicon seals inside the tube locating holes on the inner cylinder to ensure the seal clean and well positioned. Put the black rubber wind-blocking seals into a water basin to make the insert easier.

Apply water to the open end of the tube before inserting to make it easier to insert the tubes. Fit the wet wind-blocking seal to the tube from the open end with the rounded side facing down. Slide it 10 cm down the tube, as shown in Fig. 13.

Insert the tube into the locating hole with a gentle pressure and twisting motion. Insert the tubes end into the end protector, and then fix the protector into the shorter holes in the tube carriage, as well as the left/right flexible fasteners into the longer holes, as shown in Fig. 14.

Insert the tubes 1 cm deeper than the silicon seal rings, and then slide the black rubber wind- blocking seals up the tube until its outside edge fits well with the cylinder.

Insert one tube on each side of the tank to achieve alignment of the tank and the frame before proceeding with others.

Then fix all the nuts tight after all the tubes are assembled, as shown in Fig. 15.

Now a solar water heater has been assembled successfully, the next step is to install on your roof and plumbing.

JB series solar water heater can be applied in large-scale solar water system, as shown in Fig. 16.
