teËet v kameru forsunki. PoloæitelÏnoe davlenie teperÏ rastet v ka-

mere forsunki, kotoroe prevÏ∏πaet suÈestvuÓÈee davlenie na vpuske,

takim obrazom predotvraÈaÔ dostup v otsek nakoneËnika i πlam, po-

stupaet na uplotnenie PTFE. Manæetnoe uplotnenie (8) prepÔtstvuet

tomu, ËtobÏ∏ tverdÏ∏e ËasticÏ∏ voπli v koæuh Ákspellera.

Upon starting the pump, gland seal water is released through an electricmembrane valve. Gland seal water enters through the existing gland sealwater duct (5) and is guided inwards through the holes in the gland sealwater housing (7). On the interior side the gland seal water hits the shaft

sleeve (10) and the stuffing-box packing (6), which seals off the exteriorfrom gland seal water. At the same time the gland seal water hits the PTFEseal (8), which is pressed into the gland seal water nozzle (9), pushes viathe surface onto the lip seal and flows into the nozzle chamber. Positivepressure is now building up in the nozzle chamber, which exceeds the exi-sting intake pressure, thereby preventing an ingression into the nozzlechamber and slurry getting onto the PTFE seal. The lip seal (8) preventssolid particles from entering the expeller housing.
