번역할 샘플 문서 및 관련 파일들은 아래의 경로에 있음.

Sample documents and related files to translate are in the following path.

예제문 유형으로써는 한글 워드문서, 중국어 워드문서, 영어 워드문서, 중국어

파워포인트 파일, 그리고 (문장, 용어)DB 을 일괄등록할 수 있는 엑셀 파일이

있습니다.

As examples, there are Korean word documents, Chinese word documents, English word documents, Chinese power point files, and excel files for batch registration of DBs (sentences and terms).

1.1.3. 실행 및 언어방향 지정하기

Specifying the execution and language

direction

[실행]버튼을 클릭하면 ‘언어방향 설정’ 팝업창이 열리며 해당되는 언어방향을

선택함.

Clicking the [Run] button opens the 'Language Orientation' popup window and selects the language direction.

이때 언어별 알파벳 첫문자를 입력하면 해당언어로 자동 검색 되어 선택됨.

At this time, if you input the first letter of the alphabet by language, it is automatically searched and selected in that language.

그 다음에 확인 버튼을 클릭하면 번역 단위인 TU 생성 작업을 수행합니다.

Then click the OK button to perform the TU creation operation, which is the translation unit.

1.1.4. 번역 작업창에서 번역하기

Translate from the translation task pane

다음 화면은 번역을 하기 전에 수행되는 TU 생성 화면으로써 전체적인 번역할 문장

개수를 파악할 수 있습니다.

The following screen is a TU creation screen that is executed before translation, so you can know the total number of sentences to be translated.

TU 란? 번역 단위(Translation Unit)의 약어로서 번역 단위를 뜻함.What is TU? Translation unit. Abbreviation of translation unit.

우측 빨간색 박스 표시의 TU 리스트 정보는 문서 전체의 TU 를 일련 번호로

나열하고, 문서 내에서의 반복되는 문장들과 완전 일치되는 TU 등을 일목요연하게

표시해 주는 작업 창입니다.

The TU list information displayed in the red box on the right is a task window that lists the TUs of the entire document in a serial number and displays the TUs and the like that are completely consistent with the repeated sentences in the document.

Understanding the Work Screen

좌측 MS-Word 문서의 VisualTran Mate 툴바는 마이크로소프트사의 Word 2007/2010/2013 에 에드인(Add-in for MS-Office) 되는 툴바 기능입니다.

The VisualTran Mate toolbar in the MS-Word document on the left is a toolbar feature that is Microsoft's Word 2007/2010/2013 Add-in for MS-Office.

우측 번역 작업 창의 메뉴는 [파일], [번역], [검토], [보기], [옵션], [도구], [도움말] 메뉴로 구성되어 있으며 해당 아이콘에 마우스를 갖다 놓으면 말풍선(=툴팁)으로

기능명이 표시됩니다.

The right translation task menu consists of [File], [Translation], [Review], [View], [Option], [Tool], [Help] menu. The function name will be displayed.

또한, 각 메뉴 항목의 하단을 클릭하면 자세한 기능 설명을 확인할 수 있습니다.

You can also click the bottom of each menu item to see detailed function descriptions.

좀 더 명확한 기능을 알고자 한다면 [도움말] 메뉴의 도움말(유저 가이드)파일을

통하여 각 기능별의 명확한 정보를 확인 할 수 있습니다.

If you want to know more clear function, you can see clear information for each function through help (user guide) file in [Help] menu.

1.1.4.2. 번역 전 문서분석하기

Analyze pre-translation documents

본 기능은 TU 생성 이후 본문에서 ①중복문장, 번역메모리 파일에서 ② 100% 일치문장, ③ 유사문장, ④ 번역 불필요 문장, ⑤ 번역해야 할 문장 등의 TU 를

분석하여 결과를 표시해 줍니다.

This function analyzes the TUs such as ① duplicate sentences, ② 100% matching sentences, ③ similar sentences, ④ translation unnecessary sentences, and ⑤ sentences to be translated in the text after ① TU creation.

번역할 문서가 클수록 미리 분석이 필요할 경우 에 활용하는 기능입니다.

This function is used when the document to be translated is larger and needs to be analyzed in advance.

1.1.4.3. 번역 팔레트 창으로 이동 후 번역문 작성하기

Go to the translation palette window and create a translation

다음은 우측 TU 리스트 정보에서 마우스로 지정한 TU 와 좌측 MS-Word 문서의

문장이 하이라이트되어 서로 연동되고 있음을 표시하는 내용입니다.

The following shows the text in the right TU list information highlighted by the text of the left MS-Word document and the TU specified with the mouse.

그리고 마우스로 지정된 우측 TU 리스트 정보에서 엔터를 치거나, 좌측 MS-Word 문서의 문장이 마우스로 선택된 상태에서 [TU 이동] 버튼을 클릭하면 번역문을

작성할 수 있는 [번역 팔레트 창]으로 이동을 합니다.

Then press [Enter] on the right TU list information specified with the

mouse or click the [TU Move] button with the mouse text of the left MS-Word document selected. Then, move to the [Translation palette window] where you can create the translation.

실제 번역문 입력은 [번역 팔레트 창]에서 작성할 수 있습니다.

You can create an actual translation entry in the Translation palette window.

실제 번역을 수행할 수 있는 [번역 팔레트 창]으로 이동을 하면 다음과 같이 작업

창에서 여러 개의 패널로 구성되며, 번역문을 작성할 위치는 [번역문 영역]에서

입력하면 됨(빨간색 박스로 표시된 위치임).

If you move to the [Translation palette window] where you can perform the actual translation, you will be able to enter the translation panel in

the [translation area] (indicated by a red box) .

그리고, 통합용/분할용 번역팔레트 버튼을 클릭하여 컴퓨터 화면 크기에 맞춰서

작업 창을 변환할 수 있습니다.

You can also click the translation palette button for integration / split to convert the task pane to fit your computer screen size.

1.1.4.4. 2 가지 유형별로 번역하기

■ [방식 1 : (기계) 자동번역 활용하기]■ [Method 1: (machine) to use automatic translation]

다음은 (기계) 자동번역이 필요할 시 활용하는 방법입니다.

The following is a method to use when (machine) automatic translation is necessary.

이때 지원되는 언어는 다국어로써 모든 언어가 지원이 되며, 외부의 인터넷으로

연결된 API 타입의 다국어 번역엔진(빙 번역기, 구글 번역기, 바이두 번역기)를

통하여 사용자가 언제든지 다국어 번역엔진을 선택 후 활용할 수 있습니다.

Supported languages are multilingual and all languages are supported. Users can select and use multilingual translation engine at any time through multilingual translation engine (Bing translator, Google translator, BaiDoo translator) with API type connected to the internet via external internet.

그리고 기계 ( 자동 ) 번역 기능은 꼭 인터넷이 연결된 상태에서만 수행 이 되니 이 점을

유의 바랍니다.

Please note that the machine (automatic) translation function is performed only when the Internet is connected.

이때 용어 추출 기능을 통하여 미리 빈도수가 많이 나오는 용어집을 구축한다면, (기계) 자동번역 시 해당 용어집의 대역어들을 같이 반영시킬 수 있습니다.At this time, if you build a glossary with a lot of frequency in advance by using the term extraction function, you can reflect the words of the glossary together with automatic (machine) translation.
