The church in photo, built at a cost of $5,000,was dedicated on October 20,1895,(replacing the original edifice razed in 1894)and WClS used until 1925,when the congregation moved from this site, now occupied by the Keystone Store on Lehigh Avenue, and occupied its third church at oak and Nice. The Oak and Nice lot had been occupied by a home which was moved to South Nice street to make room for the church and now serves as the parsonage. This 1924photo shows the vacation Bible School of Zion Lutheran Church duringthe tenure of Rev. Hallenkamp,as pastor.
