A racorda doua figuri geometrice (doua cercuri, un cerc si o dreapta, etc) inseamna a construi un cerc tangent acestora si a retine portiunea de cerc cuprinse intre cele doua puncte de tangenta

Se unesc centrele O1 si O si se obtine punctul de tangenta A5. Analog ppentru punctul B6. Se deseneaza un arc de cerc de raza R din punctul O, intre punctele A si B
