Kanagawa prefecture, located in the Tokyo metropolitan area which accounts for 33% of the

population and 37% of the economy of Japan, is an attractive area continuing to develop due to a

Of the total domestic CO2 emission from vehicles and other transportation vehicles and carriers is about 20%, and the government sees the need for the reduction of CO2 from such vehicles as most important. A measure that has high expectations is the popularization and expansion of the “next generation environmental protection vehicles” such as the electrical vehicle. It is possible that the style of separating cars and scooters (motorcycles) will become the main stream in the trends of aiming to create a low-carbon society to cope with different situations in our daily life.Because the two wheel vehicles (scooters) are very

pragmatic for short rides, we believe that the electric motor scooter should become more widely spread. We want to contribute for its expansion.

Corporate ProfileWe began business from a mall factory producing the parts of the railway cars for Shinkansen and defending machines. The motivation of manufacturing the acoustic insulating materials is generated from the strong idea of the proprietor “Creating the original products for the world and human beings”. Our company developed the “Hitori-Shizuka” series of acoustic insulating materials and made it into product. The name of our company is Shizuka which means “tranquil science”. We are a company with unique technology in Japan, and was often interviewed by TV, press and other exclusive magazines. Corporate ProfileWe perform corpuscule projectile surface treatment (WPC treatment) and DLC coating. The corpuscule projective method (WPC treatment) is also

called the corpuscule collision method and corpuscule shot-blasting hardening, which is a kind of shot blasting hardening method. The shooting of high speed corpuscules can generate large area plastic deformation on the surface of the material so that it can greatly improve the fatigue strength and lubrication. Also, through composite DLC coating, it can dramatically overpass the performance of single treatments in the past. We mainly do processing and can conduct the most suitable treatment according to the use status of the parts (capacity, lubrication state and material etc) through our accumulated technology.

Corporate ProfileSince our establishment in 1957, our company has been using wood to produce auto interior design parts (mainly seats) aiming to be eco-friendly and cost saving. In the research and development field, we use wood as the main material, and we are developing a new material using the warm and soft properties of wood based on a basic study in universities. As for the material, with the study on recycling of woods, we use chips, blanking materials, and waste material. The fiberboards we use are made of more than 90% of waste wood, which made our products to be certif ied as the Ecological Mark Products by Japan Environment Association.


We produce all formalin-free products for the interior design parts for autos (common cars). In 1988，we gained the industr ial ownership of the hardboard (wooden fiberboard) formed 3D seat backboards which were used to manufacture the backboards of the front seats of al l autos. This hardboard became an

upcoming new material later on. Its manufacturing method is similar to paper. The 3D forming improves the strength and can be used to enlarge receiving containers and prevent small parts from going in.

We produce high precision pressed products satisfying the clients with the most suitable metal die design according to the characteristics of the materials. We are best at deep drawing processing of the cylinder stainless steel. • Precision deep drawing processing: for batch productions of

stainless steel with punched depth more than 10 times of the diameter, deep drawing of cylinders les than 0.03mm dimensional tolerance.

• Sheet fin processing: processing of metal sheet fins with high flatness rate of less than 0.5mm/100mm bending degree. This technology is used for internal fins of the heat exchanger and the duel cell separator.

• High precision involute serration blanks: our company is best at clear punch forming of the close accuracy blanks of high flatness and less burrs. The parts concerning AT autos gain good comments.


1 Squeezing pipes and materials: SUS430, thickness of the material: 1.0mm, thickness of the finished sheet: 0.375±0.017mm, min tolerance:±0.015mm.

Control the thickness of the finished sheet by squeezed and compressed transformation while controlling the hardening to avoid stress cracking.

2 Excursion fin and material: aluminum thickness 0.4mm, pitch of grooves: 5mm, bending degree on the feeding direction: within 0.5mm/100mm. Because complicated excursed forms will cause many deformed areas, it is used to control the springback of each area to avoid bending.

3 Knurling fin and material: SUS304, thickness: 0.3mm, pitch of grooves: 5mm, flatness: within 0.1mm.One stop procedure of our press conducts complicated processing with many deformed areas, but we restrain the distortion to create high flatness.
