Success in the marketplace, great wealth and power, and the honor and praise of the culture are not the measure of real masculinity. To be fully a man, you must commit yourself to the pursuit of godliness.

1 Corinthians 16:13-14: “Be alert, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. Let all that you do be done with love.” Some translations of the Bible

take the clause “be brave” and translate it “act like men”.

“act like men” is a call to maturity, to conviction and to courage.

John 15:13 ~ “Greater love hath no man than he lay down his life for another.”
