1-0.Overview

One-look Networking Survivability Improvement

When Isolated Mode is activated, incoming calls to other unit can be routed via public network. For realizing this, the following 2 enhancements are provided.

Quick dial improvement (for internal calls) Forced Break mode at Isolated Mode (for External calls)

1-1. Quick dial improvement (for internal calls)

When the slave unit becomes Isolated Mode, the system mode will be changed to Break Mode. When making a call to extension in other site, this call will be re-routed via public network by quick dial setting.

When the slave unit becomes Isolated Mode, the system mode will be changed to Break Mode. When receiving a incoming external call, this call will be re-routed via public network by DDI Table setting.

Unanswered ICD group call can be recorded on Call Report.This is only available for UCD and Hunting mode.

Unanswered calls can be disabled on the call report in filtering setting of call report. (Default : Disable)

4-1. Display Speed Dialing Name

1. When operating outgoing call by System Speed Dialing or Personal Speed Dialing, the speed dialing name which is assigned can be shown with dial number on the LCD of DPT or IP-PT.

2. Also the speed dialing name can be displayed at following 2 cases. 1) Redial after outgoing call by speed dialing 2) Outgoing call by using Outgoing Call Log Note: Outgoing Call Log is also improved. The content of the log contain dials and speed dialing name.

Note) This feature is supported only by NT543/NT546/NT553/NT556/NT560.

KX-NS version 4.2 restricts 1234 at easy setup so that dealer has to change password from 1234 forcedly. Basically do not use Port Fwd for Web-MC usually.

5-2. MRG Port : 5060

KX-NS version 4.2 restricts 50xx such as 5060 and x50xx such as 15060. These are famous now for hacker. Default : 15060 is also removed.

And long SIP password and TRS level for remote SIP extension are very important.

After set “Yes” on “Enable Multi Number”, all PS work as same extension number. ( Default : No )
