International Participant Submission Guideline

1. Eligibility

Internationally Registered Architect who is holding an equivalent license as the members of the Korean Institute of Architects, and a current member of his or her country's UIA member section such as AIA, RIBA, JIA, ASC, etc. Please refer to http://www.uia-architectes.org/en/qui-sommes-nous/un-reseau for the full list.

2. RegistrationComplete and sign the attached application form and submit a single PDF file to jpj@kia.or.kr (last_first.pdf)FEE: 200 USD registration fee to be paid by paypal link or direct deposited to the below bank account by 4 October 2013. Confirmation email will be sent upon the receipt(Overseas exhibition will have extra costs)

4. SubmissionBuilt architectural design projects completed within the past three years or an un-built conceptual design works within the past three years can be submitted for review. Panel Image, Exhibition Book Contents, and Membership Proof need to be uploaded to KIA webhard (upload/ "100 architects" folder). Create a subfolder named after the participant (last_first) and submit all materials by 6PM Korean Standard Time, October 4th.Link to KIA webhard & Login Information

4.1. Panel imageOne 800(width)mm x 1600(height)mm size panel with min. of 300 dpi resolution to be submitted. Submitted image file will be printed and installed by the exhibition preparation committee. Refer to "UPLOADING INSTRUCTION" in the KIA webhard (download/ "100 architects" folder) for more information

4.2. Exhibition Book ContentsComplete the provided template file (Adobe Illustrator) downloaded from KIA's webhard with the documentation such as project photos, drawings and text related to the submitted work. (Full bleed image of a project needs to be provided in the left page, and project information such as photos, drawings, and text needs to be provided in the right page. Refer to A.I file for more detail)

A copy of the participant's membership proof document issued by his or her country's UIA member section is needed to confirm participant’s eligibility.

* Miscellaneous- All exhibited works will be included in the exhibition booklet, and can be purchased during the exhibition. - The exhibition booklet will include all submitted works, and the certificates will be delivered to all participants.- Questions related to the International Exhibition need to be addressed to jpj@kia.or.kr

by September 13st, 2013. Feedback on questions will be posted on the exhibition webpage by September 16th, 2013.

- The cancellation of registration and the refund of registration fee are not allowed after the selection of 100 works. All submitted works will be exhibited and the exhibition certificates will be issued regardless of the selection..- The submitted contents will be used by KIA for the exhibition books, CDs, etc to promote "100 architects of the year" purspose only.

"100 Architects of the Year" 2013 International Exhibition Consent Form

I agree that Korean Institute of Architects has the right to use the documents and images (photographs, files, etc.) submitted to the 100 Architects of the Year 2013 for the exhibition and promotion (media, publication of works) and that the person who submitted the work (architect) shall be liable (e.g., right to use) for any matters that concern the copyright holder of the submittals (text, image, etc.).
