Prizes will be awarded at each grade level A special prize will be awarded to the “most Saratoga Reads!” entry

• Entry fee of $10 and is a direct donation to Saratoga Reads! • Bring and set up your Pre-Built creation between 9:30-10:30 AM • Judging will begin at 10:30 with prizes awarded at noon. • Lego Creations should not be larger than 18in x 24in.

Saratoga Reads Lego Contest Special Rules:

Prizes will be awarded in five categories: Grades K-2, Grades 3-5, Grades 6-8, Grades 9-12, Family Team Prizes: Within each category there will be a 1st place winner. Prize Ribbons: Prize ribbons will also be awarded for the following categories: Most Creative, Best Architectural, Best Saratoga Reads! Rules:

1. Entry form and $10 entry fee* must be received by February 5, 2013. 2. Participants must provide your own Lego bricks. 3. Entries must be your own creation, not a Lego kit. 4. All entries must be completed upon arrival to event. 5. One entry per participant or team where applicable. 6. Your creation must fit within a space of 18in x 24in. 7. Team projects will be placed in the category of the oldest participant on the team.

Individual entries will not be permitted for team participants. Please note that while all members of a team will receive a participation prize, a team will compete for a single prize.

8. Please provide a 3x5 sign/card with your name(s), grade(s), book title and one sentence describing your creation and display it with your creation at the event.

9. Completed projects must be set up between 9:30 and 10:30 on the morning of the event.

10. A team of local Lego and Saratoga Reads enthusiasts will conduct the judging. 11. Completed entries must be taken home by 1:00pm on Tuesday, February 19th. 12. Disclaimer: LEGO is a trademark of the LEGO Group of companies which does not
