ثنا شعبة عن أيب إسحاق ثنا غندر حد ار حد د بن بش ثني محم 3802 - حدملسو هيلع هللا ىلصحلة حرير قال سمعت الرباء ريض الله عنه يقول أهديت للنبي

ونها ويعجبون من لينها فقال أتعجبون من لني هذه فجعل أصحابه ميسلمناديل سعد بن معاذ خري منها أو ألني رواه قتادة والزهري سمعا أنسا

عن النبي ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص Narrated Al-Bara: A silken cloth was given as a present to the Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) . His companions started touching it and admiring its softness. The Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said, "Are you admiring its softness? The handkerchiefs of Sa`d bin Mu`adh (in Paradise) are better and softer than it.”- اربنعثمانبنداودبنكيسان دبنبش بندارمحم- hullah:garment,asuit,afullout3it- TheSahabahweretouchingitmarvellingitssoftness- InJannahthehandkerchiefsofSa’db.Muadharefarbetterthanthis

- ThenarrationofQatadahandZuhriyisfromAnas(r)- WhatAllahtheExaltedhaskeptforHisservantsinparadiseisfarbetterthanwhatisinthisworld,butwebecomehastyandgetgreedyforwhatisinthisworld.Wegetsettledwithwhatischeaperoutofourgreed

- TheProphet(s)taughtsuchabeautifulthingatthis‘teachablemoment’-hecouldhaveinformedthem

aboutthisinakhutbah.Butheinformedthemaboutthiswhentheywereveryimpressedbysoemthingtheysaw.Whentheywereadmiringtheworldlythings,heremindedthemoftheakhirah.Whenoutchildren/familygetveryimpressedbysomethingofthisworld,thattisthetimewhenwemustdirectthemtothinkaboutthehereafteralso.WEtellthemaboutakhirah,aboutjannahwhentheyarenoteagertoelarnaboutit.Whentheyareexcitedaboutsomething,thentellthemaboutjannah.

- TheProphet(s)directedtheirattentionawayfromdunya,andmadethemeagerforJannah.Whenapersononlyadmireslittlethingsandiseagerforthemhedoesnotdesirewhatisgreater.Sowhenyouwantsoemthingbig,thenstoplookingatwhatissmall.Riseaboutlittleproblemssoyoucanachievewhatisgreater.IFyouwantakhirah,thenremoveyourgazefromthisdunya.

- ThisisthePrpoheticwisdomthatmadesahabahsuchsuccessfulmen.

ثنا أبو ثنا فضل بن مساور خنت أيب عوانة حد د بن المثنى حد ثني محم 3803 - حدعوانة عن األعمش عن أيب سفيان عن جابر ريض الله عنه سمعت النبي ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص يقول

ثنا أبو صالح عن جابر عن اهتز العرش لموت سعد بن معاذ وعن األعمش حدير فقال إنه كان بني النبي ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص مثله فقال رجل لجابر فإن الرباء يقول اهتز الرس

هذين الحيني ضغائن سمعت النبي ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص يقول اهتز عرش الرحمن لموت سعد بن معاذ

Narrated Jabir: I heard the Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) saying, "The Throne (of Allah) shook at the death of Sa`d bin Mu`adh." Through another group of narrators, Jabir added, "I heard the Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) : saying, 'The Throne of the Beneficent shook because of the death of Sa`d bin Mu`adh.”- Khatan:son-in-law- ImamBukharibringsmultiplenarrationshere.Thesametextisnarratedthroughseveralchains.

- Daghaa’in:animosity-- ThisshowsthemeritofSa’db.Mu’adh(r)-thattheThroneofAllahshookoutofdelight.Why?BEcauseSa’dwishedtomeetAllah,andinhadithwelearnthattheonewhowishestomeetAllahthenAllahalsolovestomeethim.Andthiscanonlybeafterdeath.ThisdoesnotmeanwesayoAllahmakeusdiesowecanmeetyouwuickly,weshoulddosomethinginourlives…sa’db.Muadhdidsomuch,andhewishedtomeetAllah.SomehavesaidthatitwasthecarriersoftheThronethatmovedoutofdelightandsotheThroneshookalso.Butwhywouldtheyrejoice?BEcaysetheCarriersoftheThronelovetherighteousservantsofAllah,andwhenthesoulofarighteouspersondepartsthisworlditistakenuptotheheavens.Theangelswelcomehimandopenthegatesforhim,praisehim,escorthimallthewaytoIllyyin.Sowhentheangels

heardthearrivalofSa’db.Muadhtheywerealldelighted.

- YesterdaywelearntaboutthenumberoftheCariiersoftheThrone:IbnKatheersaidthereare4angels,butinhadithwelearnthereare8.However,intheQur’anwelearnthatonthedayofJudgmentcertainly8.Somesay8aretheangels,andsomesay8aretherows/circlesofangelsthatwillsurroundtheArsh.wataralmalaaikatahaaffeenaminhawlilarsh.Sowhatwelearnis:

1. Theseare8rows/circlesofangels-thetotalnumberofangelsknowntoAllahalone

2. Thereare8angelscarryingtheThroetodayandalsoonthedayofJudgment

3. Thereare4rightnow,and8onthedayofJudgment.Butthereisnodirecttextthatproves4.

TheseareangelswhomAllahhaschosenforthistask.Whataretherequalities?Theyrespondtoeachotherindhikrinsoftandgentlespeech.IFsomeoneasksusaquestion,howdowerespond?IFastudent,visitorasksussomethingforsomeinfo.howdowetalk?Howdowedealwithothers?yourakhlaqdeterminesyourrank.AllahdoesnotneedanyangeltocarryHisThrone.ThisisanhonourthatHehasgiventothem,andifwearegivenachancetodoseomthingforthesakeofAllah,rememberthatAllahdoesnotneedustodoit,itisanhonourforus.Sotakeithappily,anddo

notcomplainaboutthehardship-thisisAllah’sgifttoyou.So4ofthoseangelssay:Subhanakawabihamdikaalaahilmikaba’dailmikaGlorybetoYouwithallYourpraise,forYourforbearanceafterYourknowledgeTheother4say:Subhankawabihamdikaalaaafwikaba’daqudratikaGlorybetoYouwillallYourpraise,forYourpardonafterYourpower

- SotheseangelsandthemightyThroneitselfshookwithdelight-uponknowingthatSa’db.Muadhwascoming….thisisthehonourAllahgrantedtoSa’d.Allahtoldtheangels,thatIknowwhatyoudonotknow.TherewillbeamongAdamschildren,peoplewhowillbesogreat-likeSa’d.

- Sa’dspokeonbehalfofeveryone,gavehissupportatBAdr(3irstbattle)andeveryonewasencouragedbecauseofhim.Atatimewhenpeoplearefeelingweek,ifonepersonspeaksbravelythenhebecomesaforcetopushandencourageothers.Hesaidifyoutellustojumpintheoceanwewilldoso,youspendourwealthandwewilllovethat….howtruthfulhewas.

ثنا شعبة عن سعد بن إبراهيم عن أيب أمامة د بن عرعرة حد ثنا محم 3804 - حدبن سهل بن حنيف عن أيب سعيد الخدري ريض الله عنه أن أناسا نزلوا عىل حكم سعد بن معاذ فأرسل إليه فجاء عىل حامر فلام بلغ قريبا من المسجد قال النبي ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص قوموا إىل خريكم أو سيدكم فقال يا سعد إن هؤالء نزلوا عىل حكمك قال فإين أحكم فيهم أن تقتل مقاتلتهم وتسبى ذراريهم قال حكمت بحكم الله أو

بحكم الملك Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri: Some people (i.e. the Jews of Bani bin Quraiza) agreed to accept the verdict of Sa`d bin Mu`adh so the Prophet sent for him (i.e. Sa`d bin Mu`adh). He came riding a donkey, and (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص)when he approached the Mosque, the Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said, "Get up for the best amongst you." or said, "Get up for your chief." Then the Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said, "O Sa`d! These people have agreed to accept your verdict." Sa`d said, "I judge that their warriors should be killed and their children and women should be taken as captives." The Prophet said, "You have given a judgment similar to Allah's Judgment (or the King's judgment).- محمدبنعرعرةبنالبرندالقرشىالسامى،أبوعبداهللويقالأبو-إبراهيمويقالأبوعمرو،البصرى(والدإبراهيم)

- Unaas:meaningthepeopleofBanuQuraydhah- Theycamedownfromthefortress:aftertheseige,asintheysurrendered.TheyhadbeenbesiegedbythemuslimsbecausetheyhadbetrayedthemuslimsattheBattleoftheTrenchandputmuslimsingreatdanger.Theseigecontinuedfor25daysandthebanuquraydhahsurrenderedontheconditionthatSa’db.Muadhwouldmakejudgmentconcerningthem

- TheProphet(S)sentforSa’dwhenSa’dwaswounded.andhecameinthatcondition,TheProphet(s)toldthepeople:gotothebestofyourpeople.qoomoo:meaningstandupforhim.outofhonourforhim,otherssaynotforta’dheembutforhelp,meaninggetupandhelphim.

- Thisshowsitispermissibletogetupandstandinordertowelcomesomeonehonourably.buttheProphet(s)said,qoomooilaa,notqoomooli.qoomooilaa:meansgetupandgotowardsyourleader.Thereisikhtilafhere,(differenceofopinion)peopleunderstandthingsdifferentlyandderiverulingsaccoridngtotheirunderstandingandknowledge.Bothcouldberightoronecouldbe.Butisitworth3ightingover?Andcursingeachother?andbecomingdividedovertheseissues?WEneedtodevelopvastness,broadenourminds.Whenwedisagreewithsomeone,weshouldthinkgoodaboutthemstill,thattheysaidwhattheysaidnotoutofevilintention

- TheProphet(S)said,yourjudgmentisexactlywhattheangelhasbroughtfromAllah.TheProphet(s)alreadyknewthehukm,thenwhydidhehaveSa’dgiveit?BEcausethatiswhatthepeoplewanted.TheywantedSa’d(r)tomakethedeiciosnashewastheirfriendandally…buthereSa’d(r)didnotbecomebiased,hedidnotfavourthem-hewasfairinhisdecision,andthismusthavebeenverydif3icultfor

him.SoajustrulerwillbeunderAllah’sArshontheDayofJudgment.

عـن أسـيد بـن حضري ريض الـله عـنه أنـه قـال يـا رسول الـله بينام أنـا أقرأ الـليلة سورة الـبقرة إذ سـمعت وجـبة مـن خـلفي رأ أبـا عـتيك فـالـتفت فـإذا مـثل املـصباح مـدىل بني فـظننت أن فـريس انـطلق فـقال رسـول الـله صىل الـله عـليه وسـلم اقـرأ أبـا عـتيك فـقال يـا رسـول الـله فام اسـتطعت أن أميض السامء واألرض ورسـول الـله صىل الـله عـليه وسـلم يـقول اقـفـقال رسـول الـله صىل الـله عـليه وسـلم تـلك املـالئـكة تـنزلـت لـقراءة سـورة الـبقرة أمـا إنـك لـو مـضيت لرأيـت الـعجائـب

Narrated Usaid bin Hudair رضـی الـلہ عـنہ, he said: O Allah’s Messengerملسو هيلع هللا ىلص! Meanwhile I was reciting Surah al-Baqarah, I heard noise at my back so I thought that my horse is walking. So Allah’s Messenger ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص said: O Abu `Ateeque! Recite. So as I turned, something like the lamp’s (light) was hanging between the heaven and earth. And Allah’s Messenger kept on saying: O Abu `Ateeque! Recite. He said: O Allah’s Messenger ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص! I am not able to continue. So Allah’s Messenger ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص said: Those were the angels, who descended to (listen) to the recitation of Surah al-Baqarah. If you had continued (the recitation) you would have seen wonders.

Usaid bin Hudair Awsi was a great companion, before the acceptance of Islam he was the leader of Aws in Madinah. And he inherited this rank from his father because his father was among the respectable and great people of the Arabs at the time of ignorance. And he was one of those fighters who were very strong. He inherited the virtues and achievements from his ancestors. He had pure thinking; his personality was strong and prominent on the right path. He possessed bright opinion and he was the reason for the revelation of the verse of Tayammum.

He was one of the Naqib (representative of Ansar) on the night of al-`Aqbah pledge.

عـن أسـيد بـن حضري قـال بينام هـو يـقرأ مـن الـليل سورة الـبقرة وفـرسـه مـربوطـة عـنده إذ جـالـت الـفرس فـسكت فـسكتت رأ فـجالـت الـفرس فـانرصف وكـان ابـنه يـحيى قـريـبا مـنها فـأشـفق أن فـقرأ فـجالـت الـفرس فـسكت وسـكتت الـفرس ثـم قـث الـنبي ملسو هيلع هللا ىلصفـقال اقرأ يـا ابـن حضري اقرأ يـا ابـن راهـا فلام أصـبح حـد امء حـتى مـا ي تـصيبه فلام اجرته رفـع رأسـه إىل السرفـعت رأيس إىل رفـعت رأيس فـانرصفت إلـيه فـ حضري قـال فـأشـفقت يـا رسـول الـله أن تـطأ يـحيى وكـان مـنها قـريـبا فـامء فـإذا مـثل الـظلة فـيها أمـثال الـمصابـيح فخرجـت حـتى ال أراهـا قـال وتـدري مـا ذاك قـال ال قـال تـلك الـمالئـكة دنـت الس

لصوتك ولو قرأت ألصبحت ينظر الناس إليها ال تتوارى منهم [صحیح البخاری:5017]

Narrated Usaid bin Hudair: That while he was reciting Surat Al-Baqara (The Cow) at night, and his horse was tied beside him, the horse was suddenly startled and troubled. He stopped reciting, and the horse became quiet, and when he started again, the horse was startled again. Then he stopped reciting and the horse became quiet too. He started reciting again and the horse was startled and troubled once again. Then he stopped reciting and his son, Yahya was beside the horse. He was afraid that the horse might trample on him. When he took the boy away and looked towards the sky, he could not see it. The next morning he informed the Prophet ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص who said, "You should have kept on reciting,

O Ibn Hudair! You should have kept on reciting, O Ibn Hudair!" Ibn Hudair replied, "O Allah's Messenger (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص)! My son, Yahya was near the horse and I was afraid that it might trample on him, so I looked towards the sky, and went to him. When I looked at the sky, I saw something like a cloud containing what looked like lamps, so I went out but could not see it again." The Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said, "Do you know what that was?" He replied, "No." He (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said, "Those were Angels who came near to you for your voice and if you had kept on reciting till dawn, it would have remained there till morning and the people would have seen it as they would not be able to disappear.

Tranquilityـته سـحابـة فـجعلت تـدنـو عـن الرباء بـن عـازب قـال كـان رجـل يـقرأ سورة الـكهف وإىل جـانـبه حـصان مربوط بشـطنني فتغش

كينة تنزلت بالقرآن وتدنو وجعل فرسه ينفر فلام أصبح أىت النبي ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص فذكر ذلك له فقال تلك الس[صحيح البخاری:5011]

Narrated Al-Bara': A man was reciting Surat Al-Kahf and his horse was tied with two ropes beside him. A cloud came down and spread over that man, and it kept on coming closer and closer to him till his horse started jumping (as if afraid of something). When it was morning, the man came to the Prophet, and told him of that experience. The Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said, "That was As-Sakina (tranquility) which descended because of (the recitation of) the Qur’an."- -ThisnarrationisaboutUsayd(r)

كان رجل يقرأ سورة الكهف هو أسيد بن حضري •

The man who was reciting Surah al-Khaf was Usaid bin Hudayr رضی اللہ عنہ.

قـيل: هـو أسـيد بـن حضري.وجزم بـذلـك ابـن كثري يف تفسريه 3/115، ولـعله تـبع يف ذلـك الخـطيب الـبغدادي يف •زم يف هـذا األسامء املـبهمة ص4 وهـذا كـله مـبني عىل االحتامل ولـيس مـن نـص يـقطع الـواقـف عـليه بـالجـ

التعيني.

Status and Position Among the best people

وقالت عائشة كان من أفاضل الناس [تهذيب التهذيب] •

`Aisha said: He was one of the best people.

Among the most honourable peopleوقال بن سعد كان رشيفا يف قومه كامال [تهذيب التهذيب] •

Sa`d bin Mu`adh said: He was respected and perfect among his people.

The Prophet (s) visited themـهم قـال فـجاء رسول الـلهملسو هيلع هللا ىلص يـعوده فـقالوا يـا رسول الـله إن إمـامـنا مـريـض. فـقال « إذا عـن أسـيد بـن حضري أنـه كـان يؤم

صىل قاعدا فصلوا قعودا. [ سنن ابی داود:607]

Narrated Usaid b. Hudair that he used to act as their Imam. (when he fell ill) the Messenger of Allah (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) came to him inquiring about his illness. They said: O Messenger of Allah ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص, our Imam is ill. He said: When he prays sitting, pray sitting.

His beautiful relationship with the Prophet (s)ث الـقوم وكـان فـيه مزاح بـينا يـضحكهم فـطعنه الـنبي ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص يف عـن أسـيد بـن حضري رجـل مـن األنـصار قـال بينام هـو يحـدرفـع الـنبي ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص عـن قـميصه ته بـعود فـقال أصربين فـقال اصطرب قـال إن عـليك قـميصا ولـيس عيل قـميص فـ خـارص

ا أردت هذا يا رسول الله [سنن أيب داود:5224] فاحتضنه وجعل يقبل كشحه قال إمن

Narrated Usayd ibn Hudayr, and he was from the Ansar. Once he was talking to his people and he was a lively person(hewouldlaughandmakepeoplelaugh) and he was making them laugh, the Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) poked him under the ribs with a stick .(alsoplayedwithhim(s)he) He said: Let me take retaliation. He said: Take it. He said: You are wearing a shirt but I was not wearing any shirt. The Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) then raised his shirt and he embraced him and began to kiss his side. Then he said: This is what I wanted, Messenger of Allah!

The Prophet (s) gave him milk to drinkؤاكـلوهـا ولـم يـجامـعوهـن ىف الـبيوت فـسأل أصـحاب الـنبى صىل عـن أنـس أن الـيهود كـانوا إذا حـاضـت الـمرأة فـيهم لـم يـالـله عـليه وسـلم الـنبى صىل الـله عـليه وسـلم فأنزل الـله تـعاىل (ويـسألونـك عـن الـمحيض قـل هـو أذى فـاعـتزلوا الـنساء ىف ء إال الـنكاح فـبلغ ذلـك الـيهود فـقالوا مـا الـمحيض) إىل آخـر اآليـة فـقال رسول الـله صىل الـله عـليه وسـلم اصـنعوا كـل ىشرنـا شـيئا إال خـالـفنا فـيه فـجاء أسـيد بـن حضري وعـباد بـن برش فـقاال يـا رسـول الـله إن دع مـن أم رجـل أن يـ يـريـد هـذا ال وجـه رسول الـله صىل الـله عـليه وسـلم حـتى ظـننا أن قـد وجـد عليهام فخرجـا الـيهود تـقول كـذا وكـذا.فـال نـجامـعهن فتغريفـاسـتقبلهام هـديـة مـن لنب إىل الـنبى صىل الـله عـليه وسـلم فـأرسـل ىف آثـارهام فـسقاهام فـعرفـا أن لـم يجـد عليهام. [صـحيح

Narrated Anas: Among the Jews, when a woman menstruated, they did not dine with her, nor did they live with them in their houses; so the Companions of the Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) asked the Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص), and Allah, the Exalted revealed:" And they ask you about menstruation; say it is a pollution, so keep away from woman during menstruation" till the end. The Messenger of Allah (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said: Do everything except intercourse. The Jews heard of that and said: This man does not want to leave anything we do without opposing us in it. Usaid b.

Hudair and Abbad b. Bishr came and said: Messenger of Allah ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص, the Jews say such and such thing. So should we not have, therefore, intercourse with women? The face of the Messenger of Allah ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص underwent such a change that we thought he was angry with them, but when they went out, they happened to face a gift of milk which was sent to the Messenger of Allah (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص). He called for them and gave them drink, whereby they knew that he was not angry with them. - -He(s)wasangryatwhattheyahudhadsaid

• وقـال عروة مـات أسـيد بـن حضري وعـليه ديـن أربـعة آالف درهـم فـبيعت أرضـه فـقال عـمر ال أترك بـني أخـي عـالـة فرد األرض وباع مثرها من الغرماء أربع سنني بأربعة آالف كل سنة ألف درهم[تهذيب التهذيب]

`Urwah said: When Usaid bin Hudair died, he had debt of four thousand dirhams. So his lands were sold, `Umar said: I will not leave the sons of my brother destitute so he returned the lands and he sold his fruit to the creditors for 4 thousand (dirhams) in four years.

He went out in search of Aisha (r)’s necklaceعـن عـائـشة قـالـت بـعث رسـول الـله صىل الـله عـليه وسـلم أسـيد بـن حضري وأنـاسـا مـعه ىف طـلب قالدة أضـلتها عـائـشة م زاد ابـن نـفيل الة فـصلوا بغري وضوء فـأتوا الـنبى صىل الـله عـليه وسـلم فذكروا ذلـك لـه فـأنزلـت آيـة الـتيم فحرضت الـصفقال لها أسيد بن حضري يرحمك الله ما نزل بك أمر تكرهينه إال جعل الله للمسلمني ولك فيه فرجا. [سنن أيب داود:317]

Narrated Aisha: The Messenger of Allah (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) sent Usayd ibn Hudayr and some people with him to search the necklace lost by `Aisha. The time of prayer came and they prayed without ablution. When they returned to the Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) and related the fact to him, the verse concerning tayammum was revealed. Ibn Nufayl added: Usayd said to her: May Allah have mercy upon you! Never has there been an occasion when you were beset with an unpleasant matter but Allah made the Muslims and you come out of that.- Usayd(r)himselfwenttosearchforthenecklace.HEprayedwithoutwuduandlatercametotheProphet(s)andtoldhim,andtheversesoftayammumwererevealed.

Thanked Mother Aisha (r) and made dua for herوجـدهـا فـأدركـتهم ها اسـتعارت مـن أسامء قالدة فهـلكت فـبعث رسول الـله صىل الـله عـليه وسـلم رجـال فـ عـن عـائـشة أنـم فـقال أسـيد بـن حضري لـعائـشة الة ولـيس مـعهم مـاء فـصلوا فـشكوا ذلـك إىل رسول الـله ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص فـأنزل الـله آيـة الـتيم الـص

زل بـك أمـر تـكرهـينه إال جـعل الـله ذلـك لـك والـله مـا نـ زاك الـله خريا فـ جـوللمسلمني فيه خريا [صحيح البخاری:336]

Narrated `Aisha that she borrowed a necklace (to wear) from Asma' and it was lost. So Allah's Messenger (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص)

sent a man to search for it and he found it. Then the time of the prayer became due and there was no water. They prayed (without ablution) and complained Allah's Messenger (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) about it, so the verse of Tayammum was revealed." Usaid bin Hudair said to `Aisha, " جــــــــــزاك اهلل خـــيرا فـواهلل مــا نـزل بــك أمــر تـكرهـــينه إال جــــعل اهلل ذلـك لــك وللمســــــلمني فــيه خـــيراMay Allah reward you best. By Allah, whenever anything happened which you did not like, Allah brought good for you and for the Muslims in that."

Accepted the blessing of the family of AbuBakrالة } اآليـة فـقال أسـيد بـن حضري لـقد بـارك الـله لـلناس فـيكم يـا آل أيب بـكر فـنزلـت { يـا أيـها الـذيـن آمـنوا إذا قـمتم إىل الـص

so when the following Verse was revealed: " ــــــذيـــــــن ــــــها الـ يـــــــا أيـالة O you who believe! When you آمــــــــــــــــنوا إذا قــــــــــــــــمتم إلــــــــــــــــى الـــــــــــــــصintend to offer prayer.." (5.6) Usaid bin Hudair said, "Allah has blessed the people for your sake, O the family of Abu Bakr. You are but a blessing for them."

Interceded for a needyعـن أنـس ابـن مـالـك قـال:أىت أسـيد بـن الحضري الـنقيب األشهـيل إىل رسول الـله ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص فـكلمه يف أهـل بـيت مـن بـني ظـفر عـامـتهم نـساء فـقسم لـهم رسـول الـله ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص مـن يشء قـسمه بني الـناس ،فـقال رسـول الـله ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص:"تركـتنا يـا أسـيد! حـتى ذهـب مـا يف أيـديـنا، فـإذا سـمعت بـطعام قـد أتـاين ؛ فـأتـني فـاذكـر يل أهـل ذلـك الـبيت ، أو اذكـر يل ذاك ".فـمكث مـا شـاء الـله، ثـم أىت رسول الـله ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص طـعام مـن خيرب: شعري ومتـر، فـقسم الـنبي صىل الـله عـليه وسـلم يف الـناس، قـال: ثـم قـسم يف األنـصار فأجزل قـال: ثـم قـسم يف أهـل ذلـك الـبيت فأجزل، فـقال لـه أسـيد شـاكرا لـه : جزاك الـله أي رسول الـله! أطـيب زاء، زاكـم الـله خريا أو: أطـيب الجـ زاء- أو خريا؛ يـشك عـاصـم قـال : فـقال لـه الـنبي ملسو هيلع هللا ىلصوأنـتم معرش األنـصار! فجـ الجـرة يف الـقسم واألمـر، فـاصربوا حـتى تـلقوين عىل الـحوض. Narrated Anas: Two men left the Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) on a very dark night. Suddenly a light came in front of them, and when they separated, the light also separated along with them.

Narrated Anas رضــــــی الــــــلہ عــــــنہ that (once) Usaid bin Hudair and another man from Ansar (Abbad)were sitting and talking with Allah’s Messenger ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص about some of their need. Meanwhile much part of the night had passed and that night was quite bleak. When both of them departed from Allah’s Messenger, each of them was holding a stick in his hand. Narrated Anas رضـــــــــــــــی الـــــــــــــــلہ عـــــــــــــــنہ that (once) in a bleak and extremely dark night, Usaid bin Hudair and `Abbad bin Bishr were sitting and talking with Allah’s Messenger ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص. (The narrator) said: When both of them departed from him, the stick of one of them got illuminated and they both walked under its light, when both of them were about to separate (on their way), so his stick and the stick of the other got illuminated too.
