Architonic is the world’s leading research tool for the specification of premium architectural and design products. Our curated database currently provides information about more than 200'000 products from 1'300 brands and 6'200 designers. 16 million architects, interior designers and design enthusiasts annually choose Architonic as their guide to the very best. As a side effect, we gain insight into developments in the architecture and design markets, which we would like to share with our community.

This presentation is based on traffic information collected on architonic.com. All statistics and rankings referring to ‘text search’ are based on the count of according search queries entered in the text search field. All rankings referring to ‘most viewed’ are based on page views of the according project, product or product group pages. In the designer ranking, all brands named after designers were removed from the ranking unless the designer as such had a significant media presence – independent from the brand – in 2014. Brands omitted are: Jan Kath, Paola Lenti and Tobias Grau. All information, unless stated otherwise, was collected in the period between 1 January–30 November 2014. The information for the four year comparison in the section MATERIALS was collected between 1 January–30 November of every year between 2011–2014.
