Ambiti di azione: RP- riduzione delle perdite dal sistema litoraneo • gestione sedimenti di spiaggia (corretta pulizia delle spiagge, trappole eoliche, argini invernali, ecc.) • politiche per la riduzione della subsidenza (rid. prelievo fluidi dal sottosuolo, misure compensative) • opere per contenimento delle perdite (riduzione incidenza moto ondoso, riduzione trasporto litoraneo) AS- alimentazione del sistema litoraneo con sedimenti da diverse fonti • apporti da fonti esterne (depositi relitti offshore, ripristino trasporto fluviale, scavi nell’entroterra ecc.) • apporti da fonti interne (accumuli litoranei, dragaggi portuali, dragaggi presso opere di difesa, ecc.) • corretta gestione degli accumuli costieri (caratterizzazione, monitoraggio, sistemi gestionali)

…concludendo

Problema sicurezza dei territori costieri in diverse aree più o meno vaste e ampiamente distribuite lungo tutto il bacino marittimo;

Una domanda di sicurezza nelle zone costiere che cresce in ragione dell’intensificarsi dei fenomeni di erosione, SLR e ingressione marina, in funzione delle aspettative di sviluppo locale;

La MSP non può prescindere dall’analisi dei fattori di rischio, dall’individuazione di risorse strategiche e dal supporto di misure volte ad elevare le condizioni di sicurezza dei relativi territori costieri;

Iniziative internazionali e nazionali leader hanno definito strategie complessive per un approccio integrato alla gestione delle risorse e per l’adattamento dei litorali esposti, cui la EUSAIR e i relativi programmi di CTE possono fare riferimento per le proprie linee operative;

Il completamento delle conoscenze, caratterizzazione, perimetrazione, uso sostenibile dei depositi di sedimenti relitti lungo la mid-line adriatica è tema strategico da focalizzare, fra gli altri, nell’ambito di avvio di un processo di MSP più complessivo fra i Governi della Regione Adriatico-Ionica.
