8 Unplug the stock wiring harness fromthe Throttle Position Sensor (Fig.C)

This connector is located on the lefthand side of the throttle bodies.

1 Remove the main seat and the passen-ger seat.

2 Hold the front of the fuel tank upusing the prop rod located in the trunkarea.

3 Remove the air box.

4 Lay the PCIII in the tail section.

5 Route the PCIII harness under thesubframe and go towards the front ofthe bike. Route the PCIII harnessunder the battery bracket on the lefthand side.

6 Disconnect the stock wiring harnessfrom the throttle bodies (Fig. A).

7 Plug the connectors from the PCIII in-line of the stock wiring harness andthrottle bodies (Fig. B).

Unplug these connectors

Unplug

9 Plug the PCIII connectors in-line ofthe stock wiring harness and TPS(Fig. D).

10 Attach the ground wire from the PCIIIto the negative side of the battery(Fig.E).

11 Install the PCIII unit on top of thestock ECU. Use the supplied velcroto attach the unit. Make sure to cleanboth surfaces with the alcohol swabbefore attaching.

12 Reinstall the air box and fuel tank.
