Article-35. Lease, including and under lease, or sub-lease and any agreement to let or sub- let— (a) Where by such lease, the rent is fixed and no premium is pid or delivered— (i) Where the lease purports to be for a term The same duty as on a Bond (No. 15) for for less than one year; the whole amount payable or deliverable

91. Repeal and Savings -

(2) Any appointment, notification, notice, order, rule or form made or issued under

the enactment hereby repealed shall be deemed to have been made or issued under the

provisions of this Act, in so far as such appointment, notification, notice, order, rule or

form is not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act and shall continue in force, unless

and until it is superseded by an appointment, notification, notice, order, rule or form made

9 - Power to reduce, remit or compound duties

(1) The Government, if satisfied that it is necessary to do so in the public interest,

may by rule or order published in Official Gazette, reduce or remit, whether prospectively

or retrospectively, in the whole or any part of the territories under its administration, the
