r Switching Valve (For Bank 1)MOVAL

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTE:- Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

- After the ignition switch is turned OFF, the navigation system requires approximately 90 seconds to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the ignition switch OFF, wait 90 seconds or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL LH

a. Remove the 5 clips and fender apron seal.

REMOVE NO. 2 AIR HOSE

a. Disconnect the air switching valve connector. b. Disconnect the fuel hose clamp.

c. Remove the air hose.

REMOVE NO. 3 AIR TUBE

a. Remove the 4 nuts, air tube and 2 gaskets.

NOTE:  Be careful not to damage the installation surface of the gaskets.

REMOVE AIR SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY

a. Remove the 3 nuts and air switching valve.

NOTE:  Do not hold the bracket of the air switching valve.

TALLATION

INSTALL AIR SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY

a. Install the air switching valve with the 3 nuts.

NOTE:  Do not hold the bracket of the air switching valve.

Torque: 16 N.m (163 kgf. cm, 12 ft.lbf)

INSTALL NO. 3 AIR TUBE

a. Temporarily install a new gasket and the No. 3 air tube to the exhaust manifold side with the 2 nuts. b. Install a new gasket and the No. 3 air tube to the air switching valve side with the 2 nuts.

Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf. cm, 7 ft.lbf)

c. Tighten the 2 nuts on the exhaust manifold side.

Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf. cm, 7 ft.lbf)

INSTALL NO. 2 AIR HOSE

a. Install the No. 2 air hose.

 b. Connect the air pump connector.

c. Connect the fuel hose clamp.

INSTALL FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL LH

a. Install the fender apron seal with the 5 clips.

CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
