• D: Really? I like movies, too! Particularly Hollywood movies. Have you seen any new recently?

• A: Last week I went to see the “Dark Knight” at the dollar movie ( 二輪電影院 ). It’ over 2 hours but really exciting in any minute. Have you seen the trailer ( 電影的預告片 ) on the television?

• D: No, but what’s the story about? Another Batman beats everybody up cliché? The silly hero action movie ( 動作片 ) is only popular for kids…

• A: That’s what I thought too before I saw this one….Unlike previous ones, it involves more of the humanity and the struggle between good and evil. The batman is played by Christian Bale and the joker by Heather ledger . The rest supporting roles are also terrific actors and the casting ( 選角 ) is definitely best selection.

• D: Wow! That sounds amazing. It seems that movies adapted from famous comics always have some kind of magical power to attract audience of different ages…

• A: Sure it does. And the special effect ( 特效 ) and stunts ( 特技 ) are also impressive, not to mention the cool Batmobile Batman drives when he is chasing the villains.( 電影中的惡棍 )

• A: I guess so, as it proves to be such a blockbuster. ( 大熱賣片 ). But I don’t think there will be a better performance as this “joker” from the Dark knight….

• D: How come?• A: After the movie

was finish shooting only 3 months, Heather Ledger was found dead in his department in NY, due to overuse of drugs….ironically the joker wasn’t really killed in the movie, but in real life Heather killed himself in a foolish way ….

• D: I think the success of this movie will be the best way to honor him.

• A: Yes, you should get a DVD of it and you’ll soon realize how incredible he is in interpreting this character.
