Dream and reality• When we were little,we had many dreams such as to be

a doctor, scientist, lawyer and also teacher.But have you thought about how many people made their dreams cone true after they became adults? Many people can seek the pretext that I really wanted to realize my dream but the situation of the reality did not allow me to do that.

• Throughout the history, great people who did the great thing had the strong mind and insist on their own dreams. For example Hongwu Emperor in Ming Dynasty, at beginning,he was just a poor farmer and a poor monk.But he had his own dream to change the situation which he was being,and became the emperor, so that he was able to give his subjects a better life and a better leader.

Dream and reality• In such a bad situation,Zhuyuan Zhang could struggle for

a new dynasty, for his unremitting fought against the bad government, more and more people supported him,then he became the T'ai-tsu emperor of MIng dynasty.You can imagine that how difficult and impossible for a poor person to uprising rebel the governor. Not only the money and military forces,but also the fear of death and a bad fame in history if he failed.Why did he become successful,for his own experience, he did not give up when facing the cruel reality.

• How long the distance between the dream and reality?Dream is like the glittering star in the sky, at the same time,reality is a bowl of rice, for filling the belly,you have no choice to hold on your dreams instead of starvation.

• However most of the great people,they would rather do the best to touch the star,but they did not really need the steady life,so they had to bear some extreme pain in this process.Why there were less great people but more ordinary beings? For most people had great dream when they were young,and they also had done the something to realize them,but they couldn't insist on the dreams until they came.Ordinary people cannot bear the pain during fighting, because this kind of pain is not just in body but more in heart.But the great people regarded the pain as a training for soul and body to make themselves stronger.

• And for today's young generations,the dream and reality are the star and money,many people have had a good dream about life, but when they grow up,they may find that a sweet dream is not easy to realize,for surviving in this society,most people have to give up their dreams, and to do the things they don't like.For this,they may live a good life but not a happy life. Life without dreams is not the life,just to wait a day passed and a day comes till the death.Imagine that when you are old,your grandson asks you about your dreams in life,what can you tell him.

Dream can change reality. At Every moment, people have various kinds of dreams, big or small, great or common. Whatever the dream is, only if one

sticks to a dream as firmly as he could, reality may come beyond his expectation or just reach the point where he wants to go. Sometimes, one’s dream is really far from his destination. It is perfect if the dream comes into being; it is unfortunate if dream is cracked down by reality. At least, reality tells you where you have been a

Dream and reality

• Generally speaking, dream is based on reality.it is the sublimate of present life and a kind of belief in our mind that gives us a goal to pursue. Reality is a kind of catalyst that can promote the realization of dream.

• Tolstoy said:" the ideal is the beacon, without ideal, there is no secure direction, without direction there is no life."Yes, dream is belief .When we have strong belief in our heart to support,to guide us.We will finally get out of the darkness,and use the strong motivational power to achieve our goals.Dreams can provide us aims and purpose of life ,for fear that we get lost.

• Dreams help us go through difficult times,as we simply can not expect any obstacle-free path to our destinations.In fact,reality is much more cruel than dream.This situation can be confronted by businessmen whose ideas can not be accepted,or a researcher whose experiment gets stuck and it seems impossible to gain any measurable results.

• This is reality that is different from dream.Sometimes,I dream a dream in which I am a superstar out of a dark and soft-seated limousine and I am ushered to a large stage,

• I have a concert there, surrounded by fans.But,in real life,I am just a ordinary girl. I am not a beauty or a genius,but I am the superstar of myself.Although I know dreams are totally different from what we want,I will never give up.

sentence in the Internet, which is “the dream is plentiful, while the reality is so bone feeling”. Many people, especially those who graduate from college or university not very long, think it is true of the present situation in our society. People always have wonderful dreams; however, when facing the reality, dreams become nothing but dreams.

Well, I completely disagree with this idea. As the saying goes without dreams, you can do nothing. In my point of view, dream is consistent with reality.

• It is the reality that makes Luxun determined to be a writer rather than a doctor; it is the reality that makes Martin Luther King fight against segregation and race; it is the reality that makes Deng Xiaoping put forward reform and openness system. So, those examples saying reality and dream are not against each other.

• It is true that everyone has his dreams, but surely not everyone can realize his dreams. Everyone faces the same reality, but the results are totally different. Why? Why can some dreams come out to be reality while others can just be dreams or even become jokes?

become reality, we should have some procedures to experience. Above all, we should recognize the reality. Without knowing the reality, we cannot have correct and reasonable dreams. Then, we need to think our dreams. Many aspects decide what our dreams are, like hobby, the influence of our parents, so on and so forth. Finally, keep working on our dreams, which is the most important and difficult thing to realize dreams. If you do nothing, you gain nothing. Reality is fair to everyone.

• To sum up, it is up to us to realize our wonderful dreams instead of the reality. Dream and reality are not contradictory at all, in fact, they are consistent. So keep dream alive, but not addicted to it. Face reality, but not complain about it. It is we who change the world!

Dream and Reality• Good morning, everyone, I am

delighted to be here and give my speech. And my topic is “dream and reality”.

• Everyone has his or her dream. In our dreams, everything is so beautiful and there is no pain, no sadness, no confusion and no regret. And dream is the beacon. Without dream, there is no secure direction; without direction, there is no life. Besides, it gives us much confidence, passion, and courage. Meanwhile, it also makes us be hopeful about our future. And the dream, even a small one, can light our life in darkness and protect us from cruel reality, for it will give us energy to fight.

• When we were young, our parents or teachers asked what would we do or which kind of person we wanted to be, we might answer without much or any thinking. But now, if someone asks, “what is your dream?”The person who can answer is the minority. Can you? Maybe most of us are confused, because we have to consider many factors of reality.

• Yeah, we know that there is a gap between dream and reality. Sometimes, in reality, there are a lot of difficulties and hardships on the way to realize the dream, such as the problem of ability, time, money, power and so on. Those may make us be depressed and upset. At that time, the dream may be beyond our reach. That is reality.

So, in order to avoid dream divorcing from reality, we should establish our dream based on the reality and our own condition. • When I was a kid, I wanted to be a superman to help others. When I grew up, I knew that was a daydream, so I forgot it.Then I dream of being a successful businessman. However, as I’m a university student, money and knowledge has become the biggest obstacles between my dream and reality. What should I do? Forget about it again? No, never! Because I firmly believe that success is the reality to dream. I can turn my dream into reality by means of endeavor and perseverance.

• We have many dreams when we were kids, but we didn’t make it come true. So we forget our dreams gradually. As well as I did. If the dream came true on others, I just said: Oh, I would have got that if I had done. We will repeat that saying again when we turn old if we forget our dreams. Do you think you can make your kid dream come true? Yes, you still can, because a lot of what we considere impossible is easy to overcome. We can’t be supermen, but we can try our best to help other as well.
