International Klein Blue (or IKB as it is known inart circles) was developed by French artist YvesKlein as part of his search for colors which best

represented the concepts he wished to convey asan artist. IKB was developed by Klein and chemistsat the French pharmaceutical company RhnePoulenc to have the same color brightness andintensity as dry pigments, which it achieves by

suspending dry pigment in polyvinyl acetate, asynthetic resin otherwise marketed in France atthe time by Rhne Poulenc as Rhodopas M orM60A.

Till now, the project I like the most is the onemade by Yulya Besplemennova : a p roduction lineto generate beach ceramic.

Yulya explains:Ceramic Beach is not just a product, but itinvolves process and the experience. I tried tocommunicate it in my final prototype. SO the thingthat you see is a kit consisting of 5 steps reminding

the experiments I have performed. First two stepstell how much energy is needed for recyclingceramics and the last three are about the sensingthe beach pieces in different ways.
