PLASTISOL ON METALS ARE ONLY USED FOR INDUSTRY APPLICATIONS AND FORMULATED WITH PVC, LIQUID PLASTICIZERS, MIXTURE OF THIXOTROPIANTS, THERMAL STABILIZATORS, PIGMENTS… THE PLASTIFICATION PROCESS WILL USED GOOD CONCEPTION AND FABRICATION PRACTICES OF METALLIC SUPPORTS FOR OPTIMIZING THEIR PERFORMANCES. THIS IS WHY, STS WILL CHECK THE FEASIBILITY OF EACH SUPPORT TO BE PLASTIFIED BY USING CRITERIA OF ELIGIBILITY.

SETTING UP

The STS good practices allow to offer

longer-lasting of coated hardware

thanks to an in line treatment of

plastisol using vaccum technology for

insuring homogeneity and

watertightness of coating.

Speed of dipping and then

homogeneous thickness are key

parameters of best practices of

manufacturing.

They will impact on the useful life

of coating and metallic hardware.

. Nature of material,

. Dimensions of parts to be coated and compatibility with dipping tanks and ovens

are key criteria of eligibily for appropriated coating performances.

Performances of coating on metallic substrates are achieved according to specific manufacturing procedures. We point out the following precautions :

-Enough thermal mass ; -hollowed shape and

sharped angles not recommended because plastisol is exposed to indent phenomenon during the solidification phase.

-We use to mask some areas when necessary.

-No grease on metallic supports which will be sand-blasted before adherence primer application.
