  10月22日下午,桃園機場入境長廊充

滿了藝文氣息!交通部長葉匡時、文化部

長龍應台、國立臺灣美術館長黃才郎,以

及藝術家楊依香、陳敏澤、謝宏達等人,

齊聚桃園國際機場第一航廈A9候機室,為

「藝術銀行機場聯展」舉辦開幕聯合剪綵

儀式。

  「藝術銀行」為文化部主辦,委託國

立台灣美術館執行之政策,以購買我國當

代藝術家的藝術品,租賃給政府部門或民

間企業展出,同時以輪流換展的方式,讓

藝術家的作品可以持續在不同場合接觸到

觀眾。本計畫2013年編列3,500萬預算,

首批購入作品有52組陳列在桃園國際機

場,讓各地旅客踏入國門,就能感受到臺

灣藝術家的豐沛創作活力。交通部民用航

  TTIA’s arrival concourses are full of artistic atmosphere in the afternoon of 22 October. Kuang-shih Yeh, Minister of MOTC, Ying-tai Lung, Minister of Culture, Tsai-lang Huang, Director of National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, and artists including Yi-shiang Yang, Min-tse Chen, and Hung-da Hsieh, gathered in A9 boarding gate of T1 to conduct the ribbon cutting ceremony of ‘Art Bank Airport Exhibition’.

  The ‘Art bank’ project is launched by the Ministry of Culture, which commissions National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts to collect works of contemporary artists in Taiwan, and then to lease them to government offices or private enterprises. Via the approach of exhibition rotation, artists’ works can be displayed in front of different audiences in various areas. This project has a budget of NTD 35 million in 2013, and 52 pieces of the total purchased works are exhibited in TTIA, the national façade, for global passengers to experience the creativity of

南四處也於當日同步開展。

  機場是人群交會之處,藝術銀行以

《相遇.福爾摩沙》做為本次展覽的共同

主題,桃園國際機場子題則是〈風情.行

旅〉,讓往來穿梭於機場的旅人,對於在

地、異鄉的印象與感受,轉化為心中對於

某地的獨特情感;以藝術家陳敏澤油畫作

品《雙連埤1997》為例,就是他參與荒野

保護協會後,1997年首次造訪宜蘭縣員山

鄉的雙連埤,所留下的美好印象而創作出

的作品。

  作 品 以 「 自 然 風 景 」 、 「 生 活 情

景」、「心象地圖」三個方向為選作主

軸,手法上則有油畫、壓克力、水彩、水

墨、版畫、攝影及複合媒材等多樣化表

現,即日起於桃園國際機場第一航廈AB區

入境長廊展出至年底,為入境旅客帶來一

場豐盛的藝文饗宴。

Taiwanese artists. Exhibitions of other pieces in airports supervised by CAA, including Taipei Songshan Airport, Taichung Airport, and

Kaohsiung International Airport, began on the same day.

  ‘Meeting in Formosa’ is the exhibition theme set by the art bank to describe airport as a place that gathers persons, and the subtopic for TTIA is ‘scenery and travel’, which tries to transform impressions and perceptions of passengers towards hometown or foreign land into specific feelings. Take Min-tse Chen’s oil painting, ‘Shuanglianpi 1997’, for example, it came from his impression of Shuanglianpi in Yuanshan, Yilan County after he joined the Wilderness Society and visited there for the first time.

  Three topics, ‘natural scenery’ , ‘ l i fe situation, and ‘heart map’ categorize the displayed works expressed via ways of oil painting, acrylic, watercolor, ink, prints, photography, and mixed media. From now on until the end of the year, the arrival concourses in T1 zone A and B prepare for arrival passengers an artistic feast.

  法國導演盧貝松來台拍攝新片,10月

31日安排在桃園國際機場取景。桃園機場

公司公共事務室主任孫台祥表示,盧貝松

導演這次在桃園機場取景,機場公司全力

配合,因為這是讓桃園機場行銷到全世界

的機會。

  由於拍攝過程緊湊,盧貝松利用空

檔,大啖台灣美食之一的水餃,而且很大

方供媒體拍攝,直稱好吃。

  這次盧貝松在機場取景,可能是近年

來,桃園機場排名前進,國際能見度也隨

之提升,尤其是新完工的第一航廈,讓很

多人驚豔;這次拍攝新片的場景,分別在

第一航廈管制區出境大廳及接機大景,同

時,盧貝松不但拍攝了不少畫面,還臨時

要求加戲;對此,機場公司公共事務室主

任孫台祥指出,國際大導演來台拍攝,對

於提高台灣國際知名度有貢獻。

  盧貝松來到桃園機場取景,也讓旅客

稍為停留觀看,對於能在台灣取景,相信

能幫台灣行銷加分不少。

  During his stay in Taiwan for film making, Luc Besson, the noted French director, arrived at TTIA on 31 October to shoot part of images. Tai-hsiang Sun, head of TIAC Public Affairs Division, expressed the willingness of TIAC to cooperate fully with Besson for his shooting, taking it as a great opportunity of marketing TTIA to the world.

  Amid the tight filming schedule Besson still found time to taste dumplings, one of the famous Taiwanese cuisines, and admired their tastiness in front of the press.

  Besson’s shooting in TTIA is possibly inspired by the airport’s progress in ACI/ASQ ranking, which promoted its international visibility, especially the renovated T1 that impressed many. He filmed T1 departure hall in the control area and the arrival hall. In addition to the intensive filming, Besson also temporarily added plots here. Sun said that a world-famous director’s filming in Taiwan helps in promoting the visibility of this country.

  B e s s o n ’ s f i l m i n g i n T T I A a t t r a c t e d passengers to stay and watch, and is believed t o h a v e t h e e f f e c t o f m a r k e t i n g T a i w a n internationally.

  中華航空10月19日起新增桃園-南京-

鄭州貨運航線,採B747-400F全貨機每周

六飛航一班。鄭州航點是兩岸首度開放大

陸內陸貨機串飛唯一航點,以串飛方式搭

配現有南京貨運航線,全段飛時共計5小時

55分。新航線可集結現有華中地區貨運,

紓解上海地區貨物運送,提升營運彈性,

進一步布建華中和華北地區綿密貨運航

網。10月19日首航去程載運貨物包括電子

零組件及消費性用品等,回程貨物有知名

3C手機、電子產品、機台等。

  鄭州是中國大陸中部地區第二大城市

和主要經濟中心,更是大陸十二五計畫重

點發展城市之一,也是國際知名手機製造

大廠所在,吸引大量海外和沿海地區的投

資。鄭州市在紡織、機械、建材、能源等

產業上具有明顯優勢,重點培育電子資

訊、汽車製造、生物及醫藥等產業。

  On 19 October China Airlines launched the Taoyuan-Nanjing-Zhengzhou cargo route, employing a B747-400F Freighter for i ts execution every Saturday. Zhengzhou is the first major city in the west region of Mainland China to be linked with China Airlines’ cargo route to Nanjing. The connected two-section flight takes 5 hours and 55 minutes, and serves current cargo business in central China while alleviating the pressure of cargo delivery to Shanghai. It is also the basis upon which China Airlines can further develop its cargo routes to the country’s central and northern regions. The outbound flight on 19 October carried electronic components and consumer goods; the inbound flight bore mobile phones, electronic products, and machines.

  Zhengzhou is the second biggest city and the economic center of central China. It is also one of the key cities to be developed by China’s 12th five-year plan, and as the manufacturing base of numerous mobile phone companies, attracts heavy investments overseas and from the coastal area. With manufacturing strength in industries of textile, machinery, construction material, and

Currently China Airlines has 116 weekly passenger flights to 27 destinations in Mainland China, and 14 weekly cargo flights to Shanghai (Pudong), Guangzhou, X i a m e n , N a n j i n g , F u z h o u , C h o n g q i n g , Zhengzhou. The launching of its Taoyuan-Zhengzhou passenger route in 2009 made China Airlines the first domestic airlines to fly to this city while offering belly cargo service.   桃園國際機場公司於10月30日舉行

「臺灣桃園國際機場第三航站區」環境

影響說明書編擬階段的公開說明會,由工

程副總經理侯源連主持,會中除了說明計

畫內容及相關環境保護措施規劃外,亦與

鄰近本案開發區域之鄉親針對開發內容做

意見交流,並逐一回覆民眾的問題。當日

出席的包括竹圍、海口、沙崙、溪海、內

海、圳頭、橫峰、和平等村長,藉著互動

溝通,增加鄉親們對本案的了解。

  調查及評估內容包括氣象及空氣品

質、噪音振動、水文水質(含地面水、地下

水)、土壤、地形地質、廢棄物、生態、景

觀遊憩、社會經濟、交通、文化資產、民

眾意見調查,本次說明會即包括在民眾意

見調查部分。本計畫預定明年初完成環境

  On 30 October TIAC held a Terminal 3 Area Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Public Hearing for the compilation of the EIA instruction. Hosted by Yuan-lian Hou, TIAC Senior Vice President, this hearing explained to the public the content of the T3 Area Project and relevant environmental protection measures. The hearing also offered an opportunity for TIAC representatives to exchange opinions with local village heads and to deepen their understanding of this project.

  Items of the EIA investigation includes meteorology, air quality, noise, vibration, hydrology, water quality (including surface water and groundwater), soil, topography, geology, waste, ecology, landscape, recreation, social economic factors, transportation, cultural assets, and opinion polls, for which this brief was held. The EIA instruction is scheduled for completion in the beginning of next year, and will be submitted to EPA for review.

  桃園國際機場身為國家門戶,扮演著

我國與全球經貿接軌之重要角色,藉由桃

園機場第三航站的興建,可望強化桃園國

際機場的服務能量,進而提升國家整體之

競爭力;侯副總經理於會中承諾未來第三

航站區的規劃興建,將會以一流水準的服

務團隊,並採用世界級的先進技術完成;

未來的桃園國際機場可望更上一層樓,提

供全球旅客頂尖的機場服務。

  桃園國際機場第三航站區包括第三航

廈主體航廈、登機廊廳及多功能大樓,佔

地總面積約為18.4公頃;相關設施包括旅

客運輸系統、空側設施(包含滑行道系統、

停機坪等)其他相關系統及設施包含機電、

行李系統、土木、水電、空調、環境、消

防、衛生、安全、資通訊、污水處理、廢

棄物處理、航油管路等系統及設施。

  As Taiwan’s national gateway, TTIA plays the crucial role of connecting this country with global economy and trade. The construction of the T3 area is expected to strengthen the service capacities of TTIA, and therefore improve the competitiveness of Taiwan. Hou promised in the hearing that TIAC will assemble a first-rate team to execute the T3 area project, and the new terminal which will be constructed with world-class technologies. The service of the future TTIA will be upgraded to the top level to serve global passengers.

  Occupying approximately 18.4 hectares, the T3 area project includes a terminal building, a concourse, and a multi-functional building (MFB). It also has landside and airside facilities such as PMS, taxiways, aprons, and systems to deal with electricity, baggage delivery, civil engineering, public utilities, air conditioning, environment, fire, hygiene, safety, information and communication, sewage, waste disposal, and fuel supply.

  桃園機場公司成立之初,面臨了航站

改建、新建,跑道翻修等重大工程,管理

階層將重心放在改善機場運作效率與旅客

觀感上,而這些都已經有了立竿見影的進

步。未來桃園機場公司應該開始思考,如

何配合「自由經濟示範區」台灣總體策

略,進行更多的戰略性佈局。

  從汐止到新竹的80公里路,群集了高

密度的電子公司,特別是至今仍以台灣為

主要生產基地的半導體業,在全世界供應

鏈上,佔有不可或缺的關鍵地位。只是,

過去因為兩岸並未三通,半導體廠商將生

產基地設置於香港、新加坡等地,台灣並

未掌握發貨中心的地位。但如今兩岸每週

航班多達670班,通航城市超過50個,台

灣除了喜迎來自大陸各地的觀光客之外,

也應思考兩岸三通之後的產業效益。

  Facing challenges of major engineering p r o j e c t s s u c h a s t e r m i n a l r e n o v a t i o n , reconstruction, and runway overhaul in the initial stage of the corporation’s establishment, TIAC management team devoted energies to improving operation efficiency and passengers’ airport perception, and made a significant difference. In the future TIAC should think more about its strategic outlines to coordinate with Taiwan’s overall strategy for the development of Free Economic Pilot Zones.

  The 80 kilometers from Xizhi to Hsinchu have a high density settlement of electronics companies, especially semi-conductor ones which, as an important link in the global supply chain, still take Taiwan as the production base. In the past, due to the lack of direct shipping, flight, and business exchange between Taiwan and Mainland China, semi-conductor companies set their production base in Hong Kong or Singapore, depriving Taiwan the status of their shipping center. Now with 670 weekly cross-Strait flights to more than 50 cities in Mainland China, in addition to welcoming tourists thus

  其次,隨著資訊應用科技的改善,智

慧物流、海量資訊(Big Data)等新應用,如

何落實在台灣海空聯運的物流體系上,桃

園機場也應該是新科技的最佳實驗應用平

台,而台灣的應用經驗,也可以是大陸建

構智慧型城市的最佳藍本。過去,台灣相

對重視資訊科技產品的出口,偏廢如何利

用資訊科技,改善其他產業的競爭力、提

升人民的生活品質。

  毫無疑問,桃園機場是海外人士進出

台灣的國門,國門的角色不應僅僅侷限於

旅客進出關的功能性考量,也應思考如何

帶動本土電子、文創等重點產業的效益。

機場公司應跳脫傳統格局,成為台灣不可

或缺的一環,成為整合台灣核心資源與體

質的樞紐,進一步成為台灣進行國際合作

的窗口、籌碼與平台。

  Next, with the advancement of information technology and new IT applications such as Smart Logistics and Big Data, TTIA should also be the best platform to test their effectiveness in combining logistic systems of ocean shipping, land transportation, and airlift in Taiwan. And Taiwan’s application experience can be the best blueprint for Mainland China to build her smart cities. Taiwan used to focus on the export of information technology products, and therefore ignored the point of how to apply information technologies to enhance the competitiveness of other industries and to improve people’s quality of life.

  Without doubt TTIA is Taiwan’s national façade from where foreign passengers enter and leave this country. But this national façade does not exist only for the function of passenger clearance; it should also take into consideration how to add to the benefits of key local industries, such as electronics and cultural and creative ones. TIAC should break the limit of traditional framework and transform itself into the indispensable hub that integrates the core resources and constitution of Taiwan, further becoming the window, platform, and bargain chip with which Taiwan proceeds to work with the international community.

  有鑑於航空保安議題日益重要,為強化

機場安全管理,強化全員保安重要性,桃

園國際機場公司參與由新加坡民航學院舉

辦的航空保安危機管理研討會,也參訪樟

宜機場運作,透過實際參觀、經驗交換與

意見交流,實際瞭解新加坡機場如何執行

航空保安管理。

  2012年樟宜機場集團公司宣布9月25

日起關閉原有低成本航廈,並於原址興建

第四航廈。新加坡總理李顯龍也在2013年

8月18日國慶大會中宣布,樟宜機場將興建

第五航廈,預計於2025年落成,另外第一

航廈也要擴建,以維持樟宜機場在東南亞

樞紐地位。為吸取標竿機場管理經驗,本

次參訪由桃園國際機場公司副總經理魏勝

  With the increasing importance of aviation safety and to enhance the efficiency of safety management, TIAC delegation took part in the aviation safety and crisis management seminar held by Singapore Civil Aviation Academy, and also via this occasion visited Chiangi airport to observe its operation. The airport tour and exchange of experiences enabled TIAC delegation to have a first-hand understanding of Changi’s aviation safety management.

   I n 2 0 1 2 t h e C h a n g i A i r p o r t G r o u p announced to close its LCC terminal on 25 September and to build a new terminal 4 on the same site. On 18 August 2013, Prime Minister Lee Hsien-Loong declared at the National Day Ceremony that Changi will build terminal 5, estimated to be completed in 2025, and expand its terminal 1 to secure its status as the hub airport in South East Asia. 第三航廈,但商業規劃部分欠缺旅客消費

資訊作為參考數據,恐會間接影響未來非

航空收入的成長。此外,相較於美國、荷

蘭、澳洲、巴西等國機場,桃園機場落地

費相對偏低,是否要調整部份費率,以投

入第三航廈興建,改善桃園機場整體建設

與環境,以及其平衡點,均是未來財務重

大議題。

who explained financial topics of the airport industry to an audience of TIAC colleagues and employees of airport agents.

  As the CEO of DIGITIMES and TIAC director, the lecturer Chin-yung Huang has been in the electronics industry for almost 30 years, familiar with advantages of Taiwan’s industries. The current e-Newsletter has his article ‘TTIA: Ta iwan’s Nat ional Façade and Hub that Facilitates Industrial Restructuring’.

  Lin was invited in the afternoon lecture to discuss the revenue structure and financial challenges of TTIA. She also shared with the audience her experience of attending the ACI seminar, and compared business approaches of TTIA and Changi airport. Changi manages its stores collectively, and builds passengers’ consumption behavior via statistics collected from the POS system to decide shop types to be installed in the airport. TTIA’s major mission at the current stage is to construct the T3 area, but the lack of passengers’ consumption behavior in arranging its commercial layout may indirectly affect the growth of the non-aeronautical revenue. Besides, in comparison with airports in U.S., Holland, Australia, and Brazil, TTIA collects a relatively low landing fee. The balance point of adjusting fee rate to invest in the construction of the T3 area and the improvement of overall operation environment will be the major financial issues in the future.

  樟宜機場營運中心(Airport Operation

Centre, AOC)設有經理及值班督導,各席

位分別由機場公司、航空地勤業者、航警

局、保安公司等單位派員輪值,負責執行

各項相關業務。營運控制中心身為機場運

作中樞,桃園機場也應參考其作法,視各

單位為伙伴關係,協調機場相關單位進

駐,以即時掌握各類突發狀況,提高整體

作業安全與效率。

  樟宜機場在洗手間建有即時反饋系統

(Instant Feedback System),旅客在使用完洗

手間後可以立刻給分,有Excellent/ Good/

Average/ Poor/ Very Poor5個等級,若點

選不滿意,則有「地板潮濕」、「無衛生

紙」、「馬桶蓋不乾淨」、「垃圾已滿」

等細項可供選擇。所有評分資訊均即時回

傳至設施管理部門,這種隨時蒐集與瞭解

旅客反映與需求,達到立即改善、主動解

決、提升服務品質的目標,也值得借鏡效

法。

  空側部分,目前桃園機場每日執行4次

跑滑道巡檢作業,估算每條跑道僅有約30

分鐘檢視。考量飛航安全,建議仿照樟宜

機場設置跑道FOD偵測系統,提供全天候

24小時跑道狀況監測,以利有FOD時塔台

及航務人員能即時處置,確保飛航安全。

  樟宜機場內設置大型多媒體社交樹及百

萬抽獎活動,讓旅客充分享受樟宜體驗樂

趣。建議未來結合機場免稅店業者或採異

業結盟方式,於航廈內增設互動式設施,

  In Changi’s Airport Operation Centre (AOC) there are posts of duty manager and inspectors who, shifted by agents including airlines, ground handlers, aviation police, and security, deal with related airport businesses. TIAC should emulate this approach to invite airport agents to station in the OCC, the nerve center of the airport, in order to control emergent scenarios and to enhance the entire operation safety and efficiency.

  Changi installed the Instant Feedback System in washrooms for passengers to grade their sanitary conditions in five grades: Excellent/ Good/ Average/ Poor/ Very Poor. Once dissatisfaction is expressed, the passenger has items of ‘wet floor’, ‘no tissues’, ‘untidy toilet cover’, and ‘trash bin full’ to choose from. All grades go directly to the facilities management department for airport staff to solve problems immediately and to elevate the service standard. This is another measure worth learning.

  At the airside, currently TTIA inspects runways four times a day; only approximately 30 minutes of inspection are reserved for each runway. It is suggested that, like in Changi, a FOD detection system should be installed in TTIA to elongate the runway monitoring to 24 hours a day, and to enable instant responses from the control tower and airside management staff once FODs appear.

  To deepen passengers’ airport experience, Changi installs giant social media trees inside the terminal building and holds lotteries with bonus reaching one million. It is also suggested that TIAC can cooperate with duty free shops or other enterprises to install interactive facilities inside terminals for passengers to spend their waiting time and to increase their consumption willingness.

館將在地品牌「鶯歌燒」作品展示在桃

園國際機場第二航廈入境大廳「台灣之

窗」,介紹給國內外旅客。展期為即日起

至2014年2月5日。「鶯歌燒」品牌以胭

脂紅、青花、結晶釉、金銀彩為4個展示

主題,這些特色餐具各有特色,胭脂紅雅

致,青花細膩,金銀彩華麗等,讓餐具成

為兼具實用、賞玩、收藏的特色精品。

  旅客入境離開管制區後,於左右兩側

大櫥窗則可見國際雙年展入選作品,以及

館藏各類實用生活類陶藝競賽得獎作品。

創作者來自美國、瑞士、比利時、澳洲。

  To promote Taiwan’s ceramic culture, from now on until 5 February 2014, the New Taipei City Yingge Ceramics Museum put pieces of the ‘Yingge Wares’ series on display in T2 arrival hall for the appreciation of domestic and international passengers. Divided into 4 categories of carmine glaze, blue and white, crystalline glaze, gold and silver glaze, these featured tableware combines practicality with aestheticism to become collectable boutiques.

  After leaving the control area, in the giant display windows on the left and right sides of the arrival hall, passengers can also see Taiwan Ceramic Biennial works and collection of Ceramics Museum from creators of U.S.A., Switzerland, Belgium, and Australia.

  According to statistics of the Ministry of the Interior and NIA, 4.22 million passengers visited Taiwan between November 2012 and January 2013. Via the exhibition in TTIA, it is expected

中家、韓一極、螺情,營業時間為上午10

點至晚上10點。第一航廈B1美食廣場則有

果汁熊,提供現切水果與現打果汁。

  維格餅家副品牌「田中家」進駐桃園

機場第二航廈,有別於以往維格門市風

格,打造歐式鄉村味的烘焙風,招牌現烤

輕乳酪蛋糕,採用頂級天然原料,口感綿

密細緻,是低糖低熱量的健康食品。此

外,以頂級麵粉加上鮮奶,添加各式進口

乾果雜糧焙製成香氣與口感俱佳的超濃吐

司,也頗受旅客肯定。

  New brands came to station in the food court of T1 and T2, enriching the airport’s culinary choices. T2 food court has Tanaka House, Han-Yi-Ji, and Lo-ching, opening from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. The food court in T1 is added Juice Bear, selling freshly prepared fruits and juice.

  Tanaka House in T2, as the sub-brand of Taiwan Vigor , i s famous for i ts l ight , freshly-baked cheese cake. Made from natural ingredients, the cake has a thick texture and is low-sugar, low-calorie, and healthy. Its toast, using top class flour blended with imported dried fruits, is fragrant after baking and also very popular with customers.

  Han-Yi-Ji mixes traditional Korean Kimchi with its daily stewed vegetable soup to formulate the Kimchi hotpot. Added with more than 10 fresh stir-fries, it provides new menus every day. In winter its generous squid pork barbecue,

的旅客帶著走,其中像是綜合水果杯、木

瓜牛奶、鬆餅等,都很受到旅客歡迎。

  Lo-ching whets customers’ appetites by its fowls stewed with soy sauce and Chinese herbs. Among them duck tongue and chicken wing are the top choices: the former is soft, chewy, high-protein, and low-fat; the latter, using the second part of the wing, is tasty after stewed with garlic. Its beef noodle combines freshly sliced noodles with sweet and spicy soup to present a dish popular in central and south Taiwan.

  Juice Bear is located in the south end of T1 food court, selling light foods such as salad, sandwich, juice, and fruits, all very convenient for hurried passengers to grab and go. Its mixed fruits cup, papaya milk, and pancake are highly popular.

  Everrich’s outstanding management of the T1 Duty Free ROT case won it the 11th Golden Thumb Award for private management team, set up by the Ministry of Finance to promote private participation in public works. This is the third time that Everrich receives this prize after 2008 (6th) and 2012 (10th).

  Everrich overcame the architectural limit of TTIA to creating new concourse ceilings and floors, effectively rearranging the space and traffic flow in the control area. It redecorated toilets completely, replacing the old sewage pipe that has been in use for several decades. It also expanded the upper space of boarding gates . Al l the engineering projects were proceeded in sections and in night to take care of airport operation and passengers’ purchase requirements.

  To improve the quality of airport dining, Everrich opened the hómee KITCHEN, which uses local ingredients to create dishes for various palates. Due to the regulation that forbids the use of fire in the airport control area, Everrich

  Everrich pioneered the concept of ‘thematic boarding gate’ to create 14 featured ones in T1 along the two lines of the glory and beauty of Taiwan. Koji ceramic Taiwan cherry, Jade Mountain in painted glass, semi-conductor technology, and the bicycle industry are all displayed in TTIA, making the airport a platform that presents Taiwan’s characteristics to global passengers.

  In terms of service facilities, Everrich installed information desks and moving service staff to assist passengers in need. It was also deeply involved in social welfare programme, mobilizing its five thousand employees to arrange numerous welfare activities in local areas.

  Kevin Chiang, Executive Senior Vice President of Everrich, expressed that the accumulated royalties, rents, and taxes Everrich paid for the involvement in airport ROT cases during 2008 and 2013 amount to almost NTD 30 billion. Its winning the third Golden Thumb Award proves the success of the governmental approach of promoting private involvement in airport services. In the future Everrich will continue to provide high quality public service facilities to improve the visibility of TTIA and to market Taiwan.

  On 12 November, the charity store installed jointly by TIAC and Tasa Meng in T2 D zone celebrated its anniversary. The invited guests watered the box that represented love and hung their wish cards on the hope tree. Passengers going by D2 are also welcome to attach your wishes on the tree.

  The charity store gathers foundations of Orbis, Sunshine Social Welfare, Children Are Us, Taiwan Breast Cancer, and Hope to sell donated products. The income goes to each foundation to further promote charity works. These donated products represent the collection of love, accumulated to better the society.
