Delivered goods by different producers get unloaded and collected
at the inbound working stations
Afterwards they will be put either into an existing tote (e.g. same product)
or into an empty one
On the conveyor system the weight / height of each tote will be checked
In case of error it will be returned to the working station and needs to
be corrected manually by the worker
If the weight and height was checked „ok“ the totes will in the first step
be stored into one of the two aisles Mini-Load System (BULK)

ready to be delivered and sold to the customer
Totes from the BULK-System will be outbound and transported to one of
the five packaging workstations
This process is triggered by the minimum stock level deposited in the WMS
for each specific product)

(PICKING) and can now be picked according the customer orders

A-articles are picked in special picking tunnels along the rack
The worker will be assisted by pick to light showing him the total amount
of goods and from which tote to pick
B-/C-articles are handled separately at a double working station
Their design allows one worker to pick two different SKUs into six
different distribution totes (6 orders can be managed at once)
Keeping the possible picking errors as low as possible there is also
assistance via pick to light and displays showing the total amount

distribution area
Each of the 10 distribution stations includes 4 separate conveyor lines
They are used to buffer orders and to sort orders consisting of at least
2 or more totes
As soon as an order is complete it will be released by the WMS
The worker can now put the goods into a distribution carton and add
fillings and the shipping documents to finish the process

Each of the SKUs receives a barcode and will be registered via scan as
inbound to the WMS
Mainly the products are placed into totes placed on the trays
Either using the available space of an existing tray or a new one
(managed by WMS or the worker itself)

just on the tray itself (using dividers) or in a carton/box, e.g.

Based on the customer orders the trays with the required SKUs will be
outbound and transported automatically to the picking stations
The worker gets the information via WMS which article and the amount
Additionally he gets supported by a laser above the trays pointing into
the right tote
The picking of each SKUs is checked by scanning the barcode and
confirm of the taken amount to the WMS

Finished orders are transported to the distribution area where they will
be put into distribution cartons and also inserted the distribution documents
