What are the AE PMF measures?

• The AE PMF consists of data in five indicators: Student Progress, Student Achievement, College and Career Readiness, Leading Indicators, and Mission-Specific Goals.

• The measures are:o ABE and ESL level performance (Student Progress Indicator)o Obtain secondary credential (Student Achievement Indicator)o Entered employment or postsecondary (College and Career Readiness Indicator)o Retained employment or entered postsecondary (College and Career Readiness

Indicator)o Entered Postsecondary – prior year (College and Career Readiness)o Attendance (Leading Indicators)o Retention (Leading Indicators)o Mission specific measures vary by campus and are display-only this year.

1. Log into the FTP (FileZilla) server(For instructions on how to log into the FileZilla, click here.)

2. Open the “2015 PMF” folder and then the “AE Submissions” folder

1. Log into the FTP (FileZilla) server

2. Open the “2015 PMF” folder

3. Select the “AE Submissions” folder(This is the same folder from which the file was downloaded)

4. Using the left-side local navigation pane, locate the completed data collection Excel file you wish to upload from your local hard drive

5. Drag and drop the file into the “AE Submissions” folder

Supporting Documentation

Supporting documentation is required for PCSB to verify the performance of all students.

Measure Supporting documents

Obtain secondary

credential

Official reports from the organization administering the exam

or certifying completion (e.g. GED score report)

College and career

readiness

Artifacts (i.e., call logs, surveys, etc.) certifying that students: Entered employment or postsecondary, Retained employment or entered postsecondary, or Entered postsecondary (prior year)

Mission specific goals Alternate Assessments: Official score reports

CTE Certifications: Copies of certifications or score reports

Other: Consult with PCSB staff for appropriate

documentation

**PCSB is actively seeking to get GED and employment data from OSSE. Update by June on this data sharing.

Upload the supporting documentation

1. Log into the FTP (FileZilla) server

2. Open the “2015 PMF” folder

3. Select the “AE Submissions” folder

4. Select the appropriate folder for the indicator you’re uploading documents for:

On-Site Data Verification

• PCSB will verify 100% of data for the 2014-15 PMF for all schools.

• PCSB will review all Student Progress data at schools. These verification visits will be scheduled during the months of August and September.

• PCSB will verify student test results for all pre-and post-test assessments. PCSB will be looking for answer sheets with the following information:

Access SharePoint

1. Use any web browser to visit PCSB’s SharePoint site: http://schools.dcpubliccharter.com

2. Login using credentials provided by PCSB.(Email [email protected] if you need credentials.)

Select “Adult Ed” from the “Student Achievement” drop down menu

data

1. View the rates for the measures

2. Select the hyperlinked rate to view the student-level data

Confirm validation

1. Access the 2015 PMF Validation Confirmation Form.

2. Choose your Campus Name and enter your name, role, and email address.

3. Select the measure you are confirming.

4. Select whether or not you agree with the data for this measure.

5. If you agree with your data, you’re finished!

6. If you have concerns, you will be asked to explain which measure(s) you have concerns about and how the issue can be solved.

Tip: If you have additional supporting documentation to submit, please upload these documents via the FTP (FileZilla) server before you submit the confirmation form.
