由經濟部國際貿易局主辦，中華民國對外貿易發展協會執行的「台灣國際醫療展覽會」，從今（18）日起在世貿一館，一連四天與「台灣國際銀髮族暨健康照護產業展」、「台灣國際中草藥暨機能性食品展」及「台灣國際親子產業展」聯合展出，打造亞洲唯一以「人生全程照護」為主題之國際展覽，從嬰兒誕生的喜悅到銀髮族的美麗人生，全方位的展品一應俱全。本屆展覽共計有481家廠商，展出817個攤位，不僅滿足國內外專業人士一站購足的需求，也建立醫療產業與民眾互動的平台。

今年展覽中，可見醫療輔具朝「安全省力」的趨勢設計。例如由中華安全行動照護協會成立專區，宣導「安全省力轉移位」，示範用省力、安全

的方式來移動年長者或行動不便者；港商標鎰汽車（太古汽車）也將在現場展出社福車，便利舒適的設計讓身障者及協同移動的家人更為輕鬆。

另外，目前盛行的社群行銷趨勢，也應用在親子與銀髮族產業當中。台灣區玩具暨兒童用品同業公會於親子展當中，籌組的「玩聚節」專區，串連10家會員廠商，成立粉絲專頁，讓有興趣的業者可在線上預約洽談。而銀髮展也將在展覽期間舉辦「兩岸樂齡社群活動O2O發展趨勢論壇」，探討未來銀髮社會呈現的多樣面貌。

全球經濟出現瓶頸，但醫療器材市場仍持續成長，依據工研院產業經濟與趨勢研究中心(IEK)分析，2015第一季我國醫療器材產業產值預估為新

臺幣219億元，與去年同期成長約14%，預估2015全年產值可達新臺幣978億元。

本次展覽預期參觀人數將突破6.5萬人次，其中已確認來台的重要買主分別來自美國、德國、中國、俄羅斯、波蘭等地，可見台灣的醫療相關產品在國際間逐漸受重視。此外，看好我國醫療產業的優勢，日本公益財團法人交流協會更是首次組團參展，計有7家日本企業來臺共襄盛舉。

Taipei June 18, 2015: If you are seeking a comprehensive medical trade show that’s packed with the choice, innovation and quality, then Taipei’s four-show venue may be for you.

The 6th edition of Medicare Taiwan (Taiwan Int’l Medical & Healthcare Exhibition), organized by the Ministry of Economic Affairs; Bureau of Foreign Trade and implemented by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), opens at TWTC Hall 1 June 18, and will run through June 21. Medicare Taiwan is held in conjunction with SenCare (Taiwan International Senior Lifestyle and Health Care Show), TaiHerbs (Taiwan International Herbs & Functional Foods Expo), and P&B Taiwan (Taiwan International Parent & Baby Industry Show).

Taiwan’s exclusive venue covers the entire lifespan from infants to the elderly- and everything in between. This is where 481 exhibitors are using 817 booths to match the needs of domestic and international pros at an interactive venue for business, industry and the people.

The expos demonstrate how assistive medical devices are

becoming safer, easier - and almost fun to use. That can best be seen at a special demo area that shows how handicapped elderly and others can be moved in a safe and easy manner. The three-company area is set up by CSPHA (Chinese Safe Patient Handling & Management Association). Nearby, Taikoo Motors is demonstrating its special T5 IPC SUV that’s tailor made for wheelchair users. Evidently this opens a new mobility to wheelchair users and their families.

Old & young concerns come together for mutual assistance as evident in the cooperation between P&B and SenCare. The Parenting & Baby expo features the best from 10 members of TCMA (Taiwan Toy & Children’s Article Manufacturers Association) to create a “Toy Festival” area for children to play”., which also offers a fan webpage for interested companies to sign up for appointment for further discussion. SenCare also offers O2O forums for those with an interest in aging to discuss the growing grey generation.

Even in the midst of economic downturn, the medical device market is still robust. In Q1 2015, Taiwan medical products market total transaction value is estimated NT$21.9 trillion, a

14% growth on the same period in the previous year, reports IEK (Industrial Economics and Knowledge). And that annual market is soon expected to reach NT$97.8 trillion.

Over the next four days more than 65,000 visitors are expected including key buyers from the U.SA. Germany, China, Russia and Poland. This is one more indication that Taiwan medical products are increasingly being recognized around the world. In fact, the Taipei Office of the Interchange Association of Japan (IJA) has picked up on the trend to organize its first-ever delegation of exhibitors comprise of seven Japanese companies.

The first two days of Medicare and TaiHerb (June 18-19), are exclusively open to domestic professionals who receive admission ticket with their business cards, while June 20-21 is open with free admission to all visitors.

SenCare and P&B are open with free admission for all during the entire exhibition.
