はマサチューセッツ州出身です。

My piece is titled “Ame” 雨, translated to “rain” in English. This piece was created on a digital software, made to represent the crashing of waves in the sea. After a rainstorm, the water on the concrete outside our house dries up and seemingly disappears until the next storm. But in the ocean, these raindrops continue to collect and build, some going through an infinite cycle of precipitation. Eventually, they return to the sky 天 just to fall back down to the earth 土.

MIA TOKUNAGA 徳永ミア初めまして。私の名前話徳永ミアです。私岩チャプマン大学

の一年生です。

My first piece is titled “Koi” 鯉. This was one of my first paintings I have ever made using watercolor. I am still learning about my culture and I always felt a stronger connection with who I was when I saw any Japanese art. The first time I ever saw a koi in a form of art was in a tattoo and that’s what inspired me for my first painting.

Nice to meet you. My piece is called “Into the Night”. This is a representation of the lively night in Mitaka. As the sun goes down the beautiful lights shine brightly.
