Lextar is associated with rapid technological improvements because of its leadership in LED R&D. Lextar invests substantially in R&D in LED Epi, Chip, package process as well as T.E.M.P. technology (thermal, electrical, mechanical, photometric). As of June 2013, Lextar had over 1,500 patents (including granted and filed) in the US, Japan, Europe, Germany, Korea, China and Taiwan.

Lextar’s difference is that its quality is both world-class, and consistently flawless. Lextar’s lighting luminaires meet the global qualification standards of: UL, CE, RoHS and more. Light modules meet the LM-80 standard. In addition, the Photometric Lab, part of Lextar Research Center, was certified with both LM-79 and LM-80. LM-80 is a Lumen Maintenance assurance for LED packages. LED packages are lit on at multiple temperatures for over 6,000 hours (250 days) without lumen output depreciation. Lextar has its own global certified LM-80 lab that can guarantee the quality of its own LED packages.

LM-79 is the industry standard procedure for photometric and electrical measurements for LED lighting products. Lextar’s Photometric Lab was awarded LM-79 accreditation. Further proof that Lextar remains a reliable resource in energy saving lighting, and of the company’s commitment to delivering LED solutions with globally competitive photometric and lumen maintenance performances.

Lextar is associated with rapid technological improvements because of its leadership in LED R&D. Lextar invests substantially in R&D in LED Epi, Chip, package process as well as T.E.M.P. technology (thermal, electrical, mechanical, photometric). As of June 2013, Lextar had over 1,500 patents (including granted and filed) in the US, Japan, Europe, Germany, Korea, China and Taiwan.

Lextar’s difference is that its quality is both world-class, and consistently flawless. Lextar’s lighting luminaires meet the global qualification standards of: UL, CE, RoHS and more. Light modules meet the LM-80 standard. In addition, the Photometric Lab, part of Lextar Research Center, was certified with both LM-79 and LM-80. It is no wonder that Lextar is the choice of leading international brands.

LM-80 is a Lumen Maintenance assurance for LED packages. LED packages are lit on at multiple temperatures for over 6,000 hours (250 days) without lumen output depreciation. Lextar has its own global certified LM-80 lab that can guarantee the quality of its own LED packages.

LM-79 is the industry standard procedure for photometric and electrical measurements for LED lighting products. Lextar’s Photometric Lab was awarded LM-79 accreditation. Further proof that Lextar remains a reliable resource in energy saving lighting, and of the company’s commitment to delivering LED solutions with globally competitive photometric and lumen maintenance performances.
