• mean not only the simple camera position but also the height and orientation, or level of the camera. 단순한 카메라 위치만을 의미 뿐만 아니라 높이 , 방향 , 기울기도 의미한다 .

Low-Angle shot 로우앵글샷

• The camera is below the subject, angled upward. 카메라가 물체아래에서 물체를 향해 위를 향해 있는 샷 .

Low-Angle shot 로우앵글샷

• Makes characters or environments look threatening, powerful, or intimidating.

• 등장인물이나 환경을 위협적이고 힘있고 두렵게 보이게 한다 .

• Can give a distorted perspective, showing a world out of balance;this can produce a sense of disorientation and foreboding.

• 균형이 어긋난 세상을 보여줌으로써 , 변형된 원근감을 줄 수 있다 ; 즉 방향감각을 상실시켜 혼란스럽게 하거나 불길한 예감을 줄 수 있다 .

High-Angle Shot 하이앵글 샷

• The camera is above the subject, pointing down

• 카메라가 물체 위에서 물체를 향해 보고 있는것

• The opposite of low-angle, whose effects are the opposite as well.

• 하이 앵글은 로우 앵글의 정 반대이고 그 효과역시 그렇다 .

• Makes characters look insignificant, weak, and intimidated.

• 등장인물을 사소하고 약하고 겁먹은 듯 하게 보이게 한다 .

Eye-Level shot 아이레벨 샷

• The height of the camera is near the eye level of the character.

• 카메라가 눈 높이 가까이에 있는 것을 말 한다 .

• Most directors are trying to avoid putting the camera directly at the eye level because the characters shot directly at the eye-level might look threatening to the viewers.

• 대부분의 감독은 카메라를 눈 높이에 두는것을 피한다 . 이유인즉 정확히 아이레벨에 의해 촬영된 등장인물이 관객에게 위협적으로 느껴질 수 있기 때문이다 .

Bird’s-Eye View Shot 버드아이뷰 샷

• A variation of the high-angle shot, but its effects are so extreme.

• 하이앵글 샷의 극단적인 응용의 예이며 , 그것의 효과 또한 크다 .

• Has a godlike, omniscient point of view; people look antlike and insignificant.

• 마치 신과 같은 관점을 주고 이 샷을 통해 보여지는 사람들은 개미같이 작고 사소하게 보인다 .

Oblique Shot 오빌리크 샷

• Is also called the Dutch Angle shot.

• 더치 앵글 샷 이라고도 불린다 .

• The camera is tilted on a tripod.

• Generally used to give an overwhelming sense of the world being unbalanced or out of kilter.

• 일반적으로 균형을 잃고 호조를 벗어난 세상의 압도적인 느낌을 관객에게 준다 .

• Can make the action highly stylized or exaggerated, which is why a lot of action movies prefer Dutch angle shots.

• Citizen Kane(1941): Low angle + Dutch angle

• Creates a space like a ceiling to isolate Kane and his friends against empty background.

Dadami Shot

• Ozu Yasujiro (1903~1963), one of the representative Japanese directors, is said to have pioneered the so-called Dadami shot, in which scenes are shot from the eye level of a person seated on a dadami, the floor mat of a Japanese house.

• 오지 야스지로 다다미 샷을 처음 만든 일본 감독으로 유명하다 . 즉 일본 집의 다다미에 사람이 앉아있는 눈 높이에서 씬들이 촬영되는 샷을 다다미 샷이라고 한다 .
