AS DOENÇAS CARDIOVASCULARES SÃO A EPIDEMIA PREDOMINANTE NO SÉCULO XXI 43% do óbitos no mundo estão relacionados com doenças cardiovasulares.
850 bilhões de dólares gastos em tratamentos em 2010. + da metade da população está acima do peso ou obesa.
São realizadas ações mobilizadoras com a população, órgãos governamentais, empresas privadas e ONGs com foco em alimentação saudável, prática de exercícios físicos e acompanhamento médico.
