ABSTRACT
Two dimensional seismic interpretations have beencarried out in the Central Indus Basin, Qadirpur area toconirm the reservoir characteristics o the producin!Sui "ain #imestone and Rani$ot %ormation and todelineate promisin! locations or test drillin! into theSui "ain #imestone and Rani$ot %ormation.Interpretive results o time contour map indicate thatmost o the prospect &ones o 5 to '( milliseconds arein the southwest direction at Sui "ain #imestone level
and '( to 2( milliseconds in the north and southwestdirection at Rani$ot level. Results also revealed thatprospect &ones tend to become thin in the northeast, while it becomes thic$ in the southwest. The aboveindin!s o this stud) narrate that subse*uent chan!esin thic$nesses ma) be attributed due to the presenceo "ari+and$ot -i!h in the north o stud) area.#itholo!), water saturation and h)drocarbon saturationindicate two productive &ones within Sui "ain#imestone. The total reservoir roc$ volume iscalculated to be 003 acres. The total volumetricrecoverable !as reserves are 3.3 Trillion Cubic %eet4TC%.
