Max Moulton is a saxophonist and rising sophomore at Harvard University. He has played saxophone for nine years in both concert and jazz ensembles, as well as in pit bands for musicals. In high school, he auditioned for and was accepted to district, all-state, and all-national music festivals on the baritone saxophone. His senior year of high school he played six instruments in the pit orchestra of Shrek: The Musical, and performed as the soprano saxophone soloist in The Lord of the Rings Symphony in his school's concert band. This past year at college he performed in the Harvard Wind Ensemble on baritone saxophone. Besides saxophone, Max also work intensive-ly with composition, writing and arranging both classical and modern music.
Maxon Moulton
Anna Hagen is a director, writer, and actor from Brooklyn, New York. She has directed productions of Chekhov’s Three Sisters on the American Repertory Theater’s Main Stage and Euripides’ The Bacchae in Harvard’s Loeb Experimental Theater. Anna recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from Harvard University, where she studied English Literature and Dramatic Arts. She received the prestigious Hoopes Prize for her thesis, a collec-tion of short stories. Next year she will continue her studies in literature and theater at Oxford University and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts as a Marshall Scholar.
Anna Hagen
Maxwell Phillips is a conductor, composer, double bassist and pianist from Storrs, Connecticut. Recent conducting engagements include productions of Hänsel und Gretel and Acis and Galatea at Harvard University, where Max recently received his A.B. in Music and German Literature. Max also directed the Mozart Society Orchestra and served as assistant conductor to Federico Cortese with the Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra. An active composer, Max received the John Green Prize in composing at Harvard and has had his work performed and recorded by such ensembles as the Chiara Quartet, the Callithumpian Consort, and the Juventas Ensemble. Max has studied composition with Chaya Czernowin and double bass with Eugene Levinson at the Juilliard School, where he served as assistant principal bassist of the Juilliard Orchestra.
Maxwell Phillips
国立音楽大学卒業。ヴァイオリンを故 平井淳衛、篠崎永育、三木妙子、中村泉の各氏に師事。フレイアクヮルテットを結成以来、イギリスの音楽祭に参加するなど室内楽の分野でのヴィオラの演奏も数多い。ピグローネクヮルテットヴィオラ奏者。響ホール室内合奏団団員。
Junko Imamura 今村 順子
桐朋女子高校音楽科を経て、桐朋学園大学卒業。モスクワ音楽院大学院へ留学。全日本学生音楽コンクール第1位。北九州音楽コンクール第1位 文部大臣奨励賞、日本音楽コンクール入選。北九州市民文化賞。帰国後はソリストとして演奏活動を展開する一方、室内楽奏者、伴奏者としての厚い信頼を得て数多くのアーティストとの共演を果たす。
Eiko Nagano 永野 栄子
東京音楽大学卒業。堀了介、金木博幸の各氏に師事。1992 年より上海市、北京市、南京市、青島市、韓国などアジアでも演奏活動をおこなう。1998 年 佐世保市、2005 年 アクロス福岡、2010 年長崎にてチェロ協奏曲を演奏。1999 年 高崎市、北九州市にてリサイタルをおこなう。
Koji Sekihara 関原 弘二
2002年より、早稲田大学フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、ペルジムファンズ早稲田管弦楽団のコンサートマスターを歴任。早大卒業後、北米・ニュージーランドでの8年間の生活を経て、2013年、大分大学医学部に学士編入学。現在、アンサンブル・ジュピター並びにRyo’s Bar弦楽四重奏団メンバー。ヴァイオリンを吉野淳子、朝枝信彦、M・ベジン、室内楽を安藤貴子、安藤亮の各氏に師事。
Shimpei Yano 矢野 心平
Born in 1993 in Oita, Japan, Sumire Hirotsuru started her violin studies at the age of three. She has won various violin competitions both at home and overseas and had her orchestral debut at the age of twelve. Chosen to perform at “Music Festival Argerich’s Meeting Point in Beppu” at the age of fourteen, she has given festival relat-ed concerts. In 2009, she was one of the four best top winners and special prize recipient of IBLA Grand Prize International Music Competition in Italy and in 2010 she was on the 2-week tour in the USA which included performances at Carnegie Hall. In 2012 she performed with Oita Symphony Orchestra, her hometown orchestra and held a recital at Keio University. She is a rising sophomore at Harvard College.
