This operator work station is quiet withergonomic control placementand convenient adjustments. Low leverand pedal effort, ergonomic seat design,and highly efficient ventilation create acab environment that puts the operatorfirmly and comfortably in control whichcan translate into greater productivity.

Excellent viewing area through large,wide windows. A large, wrap-overskylight provides upward visibility.The upper front window includes a topmounted wiper and the upper left sidedoor window slides open. The lowerwindow provides visibility to the tracksand the area next to the machine whilethe rear window offers a good viewbehind and to the left.

Greater control convenience. Each ofthe controls is positioned within easyreach of the operator.

The double wall, pressed cab shell ismounted to the swing frame using butylrubber mounts for reduced sound andvibration.

Boom regeneration circuit diverts oilwithin the boom cylinder circuit tolower the boom. This allows pumps tohave most pressure and flow availablefor other circuits.

Stick regeneration circuit also divertsoil within the stick cylinder circuit toallow fast stick in speed during multiplefunction operation.

Pump flow decreases when controls arein neutral for reduced fuel consumptionand sound.

Automatic Engine Speed Control withconvenient one-touch command.Three-stage control maximizes fuelefficiency and reduces sound levels.

■ When placed in the “OFF” mode,if a no-load condition or light-loadcondition continues more than threeseconds, the automatic engine controlreduces engine speed by a maximumof 100 rpm.

■ When placed in the “ON” mode,if a no-load condition or light-loadcondition continues more than threeseconds, the automatic engine controlreduces engine speed from high idleto 1300 rpm.

■ At any time, the operator can activatea switch on the top of the right controllever to reduce the engine speed to1000 rpm. This feature, referred toas one-touch idle, can be used bothto conserve fuel and to reduce enginesound levels. Activate switch againto return to previous level.
