(Shanghai) Co., Ltd., the 16th China (Shanghai) International Power and
Generating Sets Exhibition, the 6th Shanghai International Distributed Energy,
Natural Gas and Biomass Power Generation Equipment Exhibition (GPOWER
for short) was grandly held on May 4-6, 2017 at Shanghai New International
Expo Center. As leading exhibition brand in internal combustion power
generation industry, GPOWER exhibition has become the most professional,
most distinctive industry exhibition with the industry’s continuous attention and
the support of the exhibitors, it has developed into a comprehensive business
platform which covers product display, communication, trade, and procurement
from the initial display platform. This event attracted nearly 350 domestic and
overseas exhibitors from 42 countries and regions, and exhibition area reached
30,000 square meters. During the three-day exhibition period, it totally received
23,939 visitors from 48 countries and regions around the world, which included
2,105 foreign visitors, and the total person-time was 43,530.

Power Technology, Wuxi Power Engineering, Lovol, Changchai, VMAN Power, Leroy-Somer, Kipor Power, China National Heavy
Duty Group, Googol, Dongfeng Engine , Ycrrc Engine, North General Power Group, Marathon-Gexin, DEEP SEA, ComAp, DEIF,
SmartGen, Heinzmann Power Control, MHI Engine, KINCON POWER, Jinan Engine, Huafeng Power, John Deere, BeiNei Diesel
Engine, Kohler, Xidong Diesel Engine, Fasten Euenon, Briggs & Stratton, Dajiang Power, MTU, Volvo Penta, LEI SHING HONG-
Caterpillar, Doosan, Daewoo and other industry famous enterprises all continued the tradition of the past and appeared at
GPOWER2017;

The concurrent 2nd Non-road Spark Ignition Generator Sets Seminar was successfully held on May 4, 2017 at Shanghai.
Some important guests from industry associations attending the meeting, which were: Jia Bin, secretary-general of Small
Gasoline Branch and secretary-general assistant of China Internal Combustion Engine Industry Association, Jiang Yan,
the director of Non-Road Mobile Machinery Supervision Department of Vehicle Emission Control Center of Ministry of
Environmental Protection, Yu Dongke, Chief of Industry Development Department of China Chamber of Commerce for
Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products, and secretary-general of Engineering and Agricultural
Machinery Branch, Chen Hongbin, deputy secretary general of Internal Combustion Power Generation Equipment
Branch of China Electrical Equipment Industrial Association and so on, there were about 60 conventioneers from nearly
50 enterprises attend this seminar.
In order to deeply excavate excellent, prospective and potential products, enterprises and brand, the 2nd Lightning Prize
continued to shine on GPOWER2017, after several weeks’ evaluation and selection, SMARTGEN, LOVOL Engine, Steyr
Motor won Best Brand Gold Award, Leegool, ComAp and Jones Engineering, and Fortrust won Best Innovation Gold
Award, Sumbright, XINLINGHENGXIN and SUYANG Electric won Best Service Gold Award, Dalin, Beinei Diesel Engine
and Basler Electric won Best Quality Gold Award, Steyr Motor, VMAN and DEIF won Best Technology Gold Award.
