There were some excellent books onastrology which were written in Urdu inthe 19th and at the start of the 20th centurylike KashfuNajoom in 1880, AlNajoom in1907, AftabUnNajoom in 1908. Thesewere written combining Persian & UrduLanguage, they contained some of thefinest secrets of astrology that were knownto Muslim astrologers of their times.

These lines are taken from an old bookwritten in 1907 in Urdu language by the

name of AlNajoom that means Theastrology 1907.

In those olden days, there were very fewbooks that were written on astrology inUrdu Language. This book AlNajoom isconsidered as a masterpiece written byMolvi Hasenuiddin. Like itscontemporaries, it is written in Persian

plus Urdu language & at the same time,Arabic words have been used too. Thisauthor has tried a lot of the techniques andformulas mentioned in this classic andfound it working remarkably. So in orderto give a taste of its worth we share belowsome of the formulas for the benefit oflovers of astrology.
