Edem pluća (Oedema pulmonum)
• Preparat je plućno tkivo obojeno H-E.
• Alveole su ispunjene ružičastim homogenim ili zrnastim sadržajem. Kapilare u alveolarnim pregradama su proširene, punokrvne. Mjestimice se u alveolama nalaze alveolarni makrofagi čija je citoplazma ispunjena zrncima hemosiderina ("stanice srčane greške").
• I pregrade (septa) među alveolama su proširena nakupljenom tekućinom.

Hemoragični infarkt crijeva (Infarctus haemorrhagicus intestini tenuis)
• Preparat je prerez kroz stijenku tankog crijeva obojen H-E.
• Da se radi o tankom crijevu vidljivo je po sluznici koja je u dijelu preparata bazalno očuvane građe, dok je površni dio očuvane resičaste arhitekture, ali nekrotičan i prožet krvlju.
• U dijelu preparata su submukoza, mišićni i subserozni sloj stijenke crijeva očuvane građe, a u dijelu su i oni nekrotični i prožeti krvlju. Uz rub područja nekroze nalazi se upalni odgovor neutrofila.

Bijeli infarkt slezene (Infarctus anaemicus lienis)
• Preparat je tkivo slezene, obojeno H-E. • U dijelu preparata je tkivo slezene
očuvano. U većem dijelu preparata se obrisi bijele i crvene pulpe, odnosno limfatičnih folikula i krvnih žila, samo naziru, što odgovara području koagulacijske nekroze.
• Uz rub nekrotičnog tkiva se mjestimice nalaze manja područja krvarenja i manja područja upalnog odgovora neutrofilima.

Tromboza (Thrombosis)
• Preparat je poprječni prerez kroz krvnu žilu, obojen H-E.
• U lumenu žile se nalazi tromb građen od izmjenjujućih slojeva eritrocita i fibrina uz manji broj neutrofila rubno. Tromb je mjestimice prirastao za stijenku krvne žile tkivom građenim od fibroblasta, sitnih i nepravilnih krvnih žila tanke stijenke, uz upalne mononukleare, što odgovara granulacijskom tkivu. Ono urasta u tromb na mjestu njegove priljubljenosti uz endotel.
