Media? They are the Big Scandal among all the other

scandals they repeat over and over again. They are not

believable.

∗ Let’s pray for the complete and utter destruction of the

ugly culture that rules America today. If the TV and the

Internet ended today, people would be lost, but the flow

of spiritual sewage coming from hell into our lives

would at least be curtailed. We have to find a better

future and a better culture for ourselves and our

children.

∗ If the Eagles don't win the Super Bowl I will

need prayer, counseling and hospitalization.

He is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of

all creatures. In him everything in heaven and on earth

was created, things visible and invisible, whether

thrones or dominations, principalities or powers; all

were created through him, and for him. He is before all

else that is. In him everything continues in being. It is

he who is head of the body, the church; he who is the

beginning, the first-born of the dead, so that primacy

may be his in everything. It pleased God to make

absolute fullness reside in him and, by means of him, to

reconcile everything in his person, both on earth and in

the heavens, making peace through the blood of his

cross.

You yourselves were once alienated from him; you

nourished hostility in your hearts because of your evil

deeds. But now Christ has achieved reconciliation for

you in his mortal body by dying, so as to present you to

God holy, free of reproach and blame. But you must

hold fast to faith, be firmly grounded and steadfast in it,

unshaken in the hope promised you by the gospel you

have heard. It is the gospel which has been announce

to every creature under heaven, and I, Paul, am its

What Does It Mean to Be An American????

The steady decline of Christianity and the steady

increase in hostility to traditional values came to a

head in April 2015, when the state of Indiana passed a

version of the federal Religious Freedom Restoration

Act. The law merely provided a valid religious liberty

defense for those sued for discrimination. It did not

guarantee that those defendants would prevail. Gay

rights activists loudly protested, calling the law

bigoted—and for the first time ever, big business took

sides in the culture war, coming down firmly on

behalf of gay rights. Indiana backed down under

corporate pressure—as did Arkansas a week later.

This was a watershed event. It showed that if big

business objected, even Republican politicians in red

states would not take a stand, even a mild one, for

religious freedom. Professing orthodox biblical

Christianity on sexual matters was now thought to be

evidence of intolerable bigotry. Conservative

Christians had been routed. We were living in a new

country.

And then two months later the U.S. Supreme Court

declared a constitutional right to same-sex marriage.

The decision was popular with the American people,

which had, over the previous decade, undergone a

staggering shift on gay rights and same-sex marriage.

No sooner was the right to gay marriage achieved

than activists and their political allies, the Democratic

Party, began pushing for transgender rights. Rod Dreher
