DESCRIPTION
Hi, I'm Abdi-aziz Suleiman. Born in Somalia, brought up from the age of 3 in Sheffield. I was a student of Philosophy when I was elected President of Sheffield University Students’ Union. My politics was created by seeing many of the good people who lived around me, with extraordinary talent who just happened to be born without privilege, live lives of quiet desperation and frustration. Education was the great liberator from despondency in many of their cases. When I made it to University, seeing people who dedicated their time to creating an education system for everyone made be proud of student unions.TRANSCRIPT
