    INTRODUCTIONINTRODUCTION

    The absolute development of a country has two facets-economy and environment. While moving towards a

    skyrocketing economy we cant neglect its environmental aspects.For a healthy country environment protection is as important asemployment generation and it is possible only with optimumutilization of resources. So taking into both aspects ofdevelopment we thought of a project which will satisfy both therequirements .i.e biodiesel production by cultivation of jatropha.

    In coming years we are going to face scarcity of bothenergy and cultivable land. We cant sacrifice either of themfor the sake of development. So cultivation of jatropha takes careo f both aspects. As the energy demand of world is increasing at2.3%per year so in coming years availability of energy will beissue of concern. So sustainability of business of biodieselproduction with profit has no doubt.Also government of India hasset target of achieving 20% share of fuel demand through

    biofuels by 2017.So future is promising to invest in this sector

    activities for refineries will include display on websites and directsupply through meeting with dealers at competitive price andround the year availability at desired quality due to mass scaleproduction.

    y We have applied for GVEP(global villageenergy partnership)International sponsorship, they have positively responded if itturns out then we will get funds and recognition world wide forproducing biofuel.

    (GOGVIP) for creating awareness.Its a 13 year old NGO workingin Ahmednagar district and has a good hold on farmers.Due toConstant counseling and untiring efforts of GOGVIP members leadto the mass plantation of Jatropha in this area.
